ZAP: New Electric Car Factory Rolls Out First ZAP Xebra(R)

Electric Car pioneer ZAP (OTCBB: ZAAP)

announced today that a new factory in the Shandong Province of China has rolled out the first of its Xebra sedans and pickups.

The new factory has the capacity to produce up to 4,000 vehicles per month, according to officials from ZAP and Shandong Jindalu Vehicle Company, Ltd.

Shandong Jindalu held a dedication ceremony and celebration at the new facility. More than 300-400 attended, including the Governor of Shandong Province and the Mayor of Lin Xian. Shandong Jindalu President Mr. Lu hosted the dedication. The factory opening was broadcast throughout the country on Chinese television with ZAP

ZAP is marketing the Xebra electric sedan and pickup through a global distribution network of auto distributors, dealers and service centers. The Xebra is a unique ‘city-car’ designed to provide an energy efficient alternative for commuters, multi-car families, businesses and government fleets.

The Mini Cooper is already a Hollywood star and has been featured in Forbes and the Wall Street Journal. Active Control (ACT: TSXV) receives two orders from worldwide mining machinery manufacturer

Active Control Technology Inc. (TSX-V:ACT) announced today that

a global mining machinery manufacturer has ordered two wireless systems for use in its mining automation program. The order consists of the wireless network technology used in ActiveMine, a two-way voice communication, tracking and data system, exemplifying ActiveMine’s data capabilities beyond full underground wireless networks, voice communications and locating.

For various reasons, the new customer has asked ACT to not disclose its name or its specific application at this time.

ActiveMine’s communications, data and tracking system enables monitoring of production, personnel and equipment in all types of surface and underground mining environments, including coal and base metal mines.

ACT designs and markets wireless network control and communication systems for buildings and extreme environments.

ORGANIC RESOURCE MANAGEMENT (ORI: TSX)

ORMI collects a variety of organic residuals from more than 5,000 foodservice and food industry customers in Ontario. It then processes and blends these residuals to create high energy organic feedstock for use in anaerobic digesters to increase the generation of biogas renewable energy.

announced yesterday at the Company’s Annual General Meeting

that preliminary biogas production results have demonstrated that the addition of less than 15% (by volume) of ORMI’s feedstock to the Klaesi anaerobic digester (“AD”) has increased electricity production from 700 kWhrs per day to 2,400 kWhrs per day over manure alone.

These results were obtained from continuous operation of the Klaesi AD, the first and only Ontario AD to date permitted to receive off-farm feedstock. As previously announced, ORMI has an exclusive, 20-year contract to supply its organic feedstock to the Klaesi AD.

Organic Resource is Canada’s largest provider of vacuum truck services for the collection, treatment and disposal of organic and other non-hazardous liquid waste. ORMI services in excess of 8,000 commercial, industrial, institutional and residential customers in Ontario, Quebec, and British Columbia.

Garrison International (TSX VENTURE:GAU)

recent drill results from the first 57 diamond drill holes have confirmed that good resources exist at the Tovshiir project in Mongolia.

Plans are currently underway to commence a feasibility study on open cut gold production for the Tovshiir Project.

construction target date expected in 2nd quarter, 2008.

Highlights

– Drilling at Tovshiir returns high grade drill intersections

up to 33 g/t Au over 1.5 m

including 99.25 g/t Au over 0.5 m

– Drilling results of the first 57 shallow diamond holes confirms a shallow resource exists at the surface (within top 3-5m) in the Tovshiir Project which is suitable for open cut mining

– A resource estimate will be calculated over the next two months and submitted for approval to the Mongolian Government as part of the approval process of a feasibility study on the project and as required to issue mining permits

– Garrison Board has given approval to commence Feasibility Studies for Tovshiir Project on the basis of an initial 30,000 oz per annum gold project

The Consulting Engineering Firm Balchuluu Co. Ltd has been appointed to manage the Feasibility Study for the project with a target of 500 tonne per day plant throughput.
