CHARTS UPDATE: EVERY MINUTE

Welcome to the AGORACOM Gold Prices Page. We created this page to give members a convenient way of viewing price action without having to leave the site.   As you can see, we’ve amalgamated charts from Kitco.com, as permitted.

We’re also happy to provide:

ONCE YOU ARE DONE REVIEWING PRICES …..

You may want to discover these great junior resource companies with great Gold Projects. Yes, they are clients or we have invested in them, so assume we are horribly conflicted.  Now go take a look at their projects and partnerships … you won’t regret it.

ONCE YOU ARE DONE REVIEWING GOLD PRICES …..

You will want to make your way over to my Gold $2,000 blog posts to find out about great gold companies and other commentary.

In addition, you will also want to have a look at our previous AGORACOM Online Gold & Commodities Conference this December 3rd and 4th. Keynote speakers included Peter Grandich, Paul Kedrosky, Barry Ritholtz, Eric Coffin and Gregor Macdonald!

Folks – FANTASTIC FEEDBACK! This started out as a small experiment but it is obvious there is some great demand for this and other helpful data. We are looking into all of these right now, including $CAD charts, 5-year charts and others that have been requested.

Denny, good catch on the Oct 19th date, which is when I first put this page up for personal use – until I noticed other people using it. Will make that change in a minute.

SILVER CHARTS – Already Done …http://blog.agoracom.com/2008/10/19/silver-prices-new-york-24-hour/ but look for more improvements in short order.

Thanks everyone, keep checking back in!

    Regards,
    George

Would it make sense to add a similar set of charts for silver? Lots of folks follow both.

  8. Denny Jackson says:

Hmmm…just noticed you have a date of Oct 19, 2008 posted at the top of the page for some reason, even though the charts are current. That needs to go.

  9. Denny Jackson says:

Handy collection of Kitco’s data. What would be even better would be if you posted their charts on silver too. There would be room to do them both side by side.

  10. JB says:

Nice US$ gold page. It would be great if could add some of the same charts in CAD $ for us Vancouver Canucks fans.

  11. jeffrey isreal says:

A 5 year chart shows reasonable perspective.

  12. Wayne says:

Thanks for the charts. As for others that might help, you have a lot of Canadians who check your site, including myself — a few gold charts in Can. $ would be helpful.

chart reading and technical analysis is really an art form, the PRO can read the chart like reading a story. I have spent 30 yrs on the developement of a templet to locate the channels of stock charts and understand the language the charts relate. HLC charts do not tell the story as well as the point and figure.

  14. TD says:

Is it possible to post the daily volumes for gold, or is there a good site to follow this information

  15. challie says:

more helpful than the HLC CHART is the ten year and even more helpful for day and short term traders is the point and figure chart for 6 mo., ten days and five day P&F

  16. tony boyle says:

like the idea, could use more modern/clean looking charts though. the bottom two are almost unreadable, but either way still very much appreciated:)
