Q1 RESULTS

quarter ended October 31, 2007.

Increased Revenues – Overall revenues have increased by 6% to $742,964 in the quarter ended October 31, 2007 compared to $700,496 for the same period in 2006. The Company continued to earn solid revenue on its main contracts with an increase in the number of monitored clients.

Increased Net Earnings – For the quarter ended October 31, 2007, net earnings increased by 49% to $193,933 or $0.08 per common share from $129,905 or $0.06 per share for the quarter ended October 31, 2006. This increase in net earnings is attributable to increased revenues and reduced costs of 4%.

Increased Liquidity – The Company’s cash and cash equivalents increased to $2,958,530 as of October 31, 2007 from $2,786,723 as of July 31, 2007. The Company had working capital of $2,890,571 as of October 31, 2007 compared to working capital of $2,694,273 as at July 31, 2007.

Midway Gold Corp. (TSXV:MDW.V)

Approved for Listing on American Stock Exchange

announced today that its common shares have been approved for listing on the American Stock Exchange (“AMEX”) and is tentatively scheduled to begin trading at the opening of the market on January 3, 2008.

This past year, Barrick Gold Corporation has participated in equity placements in the Company of over $10 million dollars, funding one of the more aggressive drill programs in Nevada. The Company controls over 60 square miles of mineral rights, along four of the major gold trends, in seven project areas. With these new discoveries and current projects Midway plans to create a pipeline of valuable new gold resources in Nevada.


SouthGobi Energy Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:SGQ)

Establishes Up to 148.9 Metres True Thickness of High Quality, Low Sulphur, Low Ash Underground Coal at Ovoot Tolgoi Project, Southern Mongolia

Independent analytical results confirm coking coal

Highlights of the 2007 deep drilling include:

– Hole NSW 07-80C intercepting 210.6 metres (148.9 metres estimated true thickness) of high-quality coal from 181.0 metres to 391.6 metres

– Hole NSW 07-89C intercepting 158.2 metres (111.9 metres estimated true thickness) of high-quality coal from 238.4 metres to 396.6 metres

– Hole NSW 07-82C intercepting 94.0 metres (66.5 metres estimated true thickness) of high-quality coal from 440.1 metres to 534.1 metres
