Red Light Holland Corp. (CSE: TRIP) (FSE: 4YX) (OTC: TRUFF) (“Red Light Holland“) is pleased to announce it has entered into a non-binding letter of intent to acquire 51% of Psychedelic Insights in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Psychedelic Insights currently provides psychedelic assistance to clients from all over the world, who are in need and wanting to try a safe and psychological guided experience. Psychedelic Insights’ dedicated and compassionate facilitators, including a team of psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists and scientists, provide psychological guidance of psychedelic experiences in many different categories including: (i) individuals or small groups (ii) psychedelic palliative care (iii) Re-connecting Veterans and (iv) provides global mental health screening. Psychedelic Insights portfolio also includes unique therapist training and psychedelic assisted leadership coaching.

As part of the expected 51% acquisition, a condition in the agreement will include: an exclusive supply agreement with Red Light Holland’s Truffles, grown from Red Light Holland’s facility in Horst, Netherlands with the intention to be used solely by Psychedelic Insights’ clients.

“I find it so interesting that behind the scenes we’ve been working on this deal for months in the Netherlands, and we just happened to agree to it on the same day Canada granted 17 healthcare professionals to possess and use psilocybin for professional training in psilocybin therapy,” said CEO Todd Shapiro. “Luc Van Poelje, CEO of Psychedelic Insights and his team have a very professional and compassionate business and we are looking forward to potentially helping it grow, because of the capital Red Light Holland can provide. There is a careful due diligence process, but we are very excited at this potential to create another alternative revenue stream as we stay true to our mission of helping people gain access to psilocybin via our Red Light Holland Truffles, responsibly.”

“Our team of psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists and scientists at Psychedelic Insights are all excited to potentially be partnering with Red Light Holland so we can continue to grow our psychedelic assisted service to clients from all over the world, who are in need and wanting to try a safe and psychologically guided experience. Our dedicated and compassionate facilitators are also pleased to potentially use Red Light Holland’s Truffles, exclusively and are pleased at this intention to grow our business so ultimately we can hopefully help more people in need,” added Luc Van Poelje, CEO Psychedelic Insights.

Recently, Red Light Holland announced a non-binding letter of intent with Halo Labs Inc. (“Halo“) for the purposes of creating a joint venture to become a licensed psilocybin manufacturer to supply psilocybin products to licensed service centers in the State of Oregon, and to explore other potential business opportunities in this new regulated market, subject to compliance with all applicable Oregon laws and regulations. The planned acquisition of a majority interest in Psychedelic Insights in The Netherlands keeps in line with the aforementioned theme and future plans of Red Light Holland’s potentially being involved (in multiple countries) in legal psilocybin-assisted initiatives.

In Canada on December 8th, 2020, 17 healthcare professionals were approved by the Canadian Federal Health Minister, Patty Hajdu, to possess and use psilocybin for professional training in psilocybin therapy. The approved healthcare professionals include psychologists, psychiatrists, clinical counselors, social workers, general practitioners, and nurses.

Further details will be announced once made available.

Toronto, Ontario–(Newsfile Corp. – December 8, 2020) – Red Light Holland Corp. (CSE: TRIP) (FSE: 4YX) (OTC: TRUFF) (“Red Light Holland“) is pleased to announce the company will be launching a Logo Redesign Contest on December 14th, 2020 at 8:30am, on multiple social media channels. The premise of the Red Light Holland Logo Redesign Contest is to receive input from graphic designers, artists, day dreamers, psychedelic advocates, influencers, brand builders, creative types, even non creative types – essentially anybody and everybody, who would like to contribute to helping build Red Light Holland’s Brand, reflecting those who support our mission of providing access, while being inclusionary and giving back.

Red Light Holland will announce the rules and regulations for the Logo Redesign Contest on December 14th, 2020 at 8:30am where it is expected that participants will be encouraged to go to social media to make their best pitch as to why they should be a part of the Red Light Holland Logo Redesign Committee, joining Chief Creative Officer Russell Peters (4 million Twitter followers, 1.1 million Facebook likes, and 399,000 Instagram followers), and Clothing Brand Ambassador Khloë Terae, (2.4 million followers on Instagram, 2.2 million likes on Facebook, and 647,000 followers on Twitter.) Ultimately, three (3) winners will be chosen before the new year to join the Redesign Committee. Each of the three (3) winners will receive C$5000.00 for their participation in helping Red Light Holland design a new logo, expected to premier early in 2021.

“When Todd pitched this idea to me, my initial response was a rare one because I replied – that’s not a bad idea at all!” said Russell Peters, Red Light Holland Chief Creative Officer. “We are excited to hear, read and see participants’ reasons on Social Media as to why they should be chosen to be a part of this committee with Khloë and me for Red Light Holland’s Logo Redesign Contest. We are elated to put up $15,000 (CND) to the winners for their creative input. This is right up our alley because it’s outside of the box, it connects with people, it’s collaborative and it’s fun.”

“As our Brand grows, I really wanted to have a logo that represented and reflected those who support us and believe in the future of legal access to psychedelics through education and information. Also, because of the current tough economic times, collectively as a company we were thinking of ways to give back, especially during the holiday season,” said Todd Shapiro, Red Light Holland CEO and Director. “Personally the original/retro logo will always be special to me, but creating a committee with the likes of Russell Peters and Khloë is amazing. This creative initiative to add three winners, who no doubt will be extremely talented people, is heart-warming and to be in a position to help provide our three ultimate winners with $5000 (CND) each for their input is music to my ears. Red Light Holland is proud to help reward people for their feedback and hard work. I can’t wait to meet the winners!”

Further details of Red Light Holland’s Logo Redesign Contest, through multiple social media channels with Russell Peters and Khloë, including rules and regulations will be announced once made available. The Logo Redesign Contest will launch on social media on December 14th, 2020 8:30am. Red Light Holland’s 2020 Collection is available now at www.iMicrodose.ca

  • Creating a joint venture to become a licensed psilocybin manufacturer to supply psilocybin in the State of Oregon

Red Light Holland Corp. (CSE: TRIP) (FSE: 4YX) (OTC: TRUFF) (“Red Light Holland“), and Halo Labs Inc. (“Halo“) (NEO: HALO) (OTC: AGEEF) (Germany: A9KN) are pleased to announce they have entered into a non-binding letter of intent for the purposes of creating a joint venture to become a licensed psilocybin manufacturer to supply psilocybin products to licensed service centers in the State of Oregon, and to explore other potential business opportunities in this new regulated market, subject to compliance with all applicable Oregon laws and regulations.

“Clearly, we are very excited with the recent results of Oregon Measure 109 where progressive Oregonians have voted in favour of becoming the first state in the US, to allow the use of psilocybin, for therapeutic use. We take pride at Red Light Holland in our self-regulated responsible adult use psilocybin legal product (iMicrodose packs in the Netherlands), which we feel could become a model for the development of psilocybin products for the Oregon regulated market to be used to potentially treat chronic mental health issues like anxiety, depression, and addiction” said Red Light Holland CEO and Director Todd Shapiro. “We are aware that these are early days for the Oregon psilocybin market, we cannot make medical claims, and the path ahead is still a long one as the Oregon Health Authority still has to create a state-licensed, psilocybin-assisted therapy program over the next two years. This is exactly why we have entered into a non-binding LOI with Halo Labs, as CEO Kiran Sidhu and his team have deep regulatory experience and relationships with Oregon lawmakers and state officials, having founded Halo Labs, a successful vertically integrated cannabis company that started in the State of Oregon and now operates in multiple US states, Africa and in the UK” added Shapiro.

“We believe we are in a great position to work closely with Oregon regulatory authorities with respect to the implementation of Measure 109 and the development of Oregon’s regulatory psilocybin regime,” said Kiran Sidhu, CEO of Halo. “We are delighted to be working with Todd Shapiro and the team at Red Light Holland, as they have the experience, know-how and the right viewpoint with their educational, informational, innovative, and careful perspective on access to psilocybin. We are looking forward to taking the next steps in this emerging market together. We remain exclusively focused on cannabis in Oregon and see medical psilocybin as a longer term opportunity.”

Further details of the proposed joint venture will be announced once available and as the contours of the Oregon regulated market begin to take shape.

Red Light Holland $TRIP.ca Engages RadixMotion to Develop iMicrodose Digital Care Program Using Latest Immersive Technology $SHRM.ca $RVV.ca $MMED $PLNT.ca

  • RadixMotion will design and develop a digital care program for people exploring microdosing
  • The core of the digital care program is a privacy first iMicrodose Journal,
  • A web app where people can anonymously document their microdosing and receive data driven analytics that will help them make informed choices around their usage

Toronto, Ontario–(Newsfile Corp. – November 17, 2020) – Red Light Holland Corp. (CSE: TRIP) (FSE: 4YX) (“Red Light Holland” or the “Company“) is pleased to announce that via its Scarlette Lillie Science and Innovation division, it has engaged RadixMotion Inc. (“RadixMotion“), an immersive technology company based in the State of Delaware, to design and develop a digital care program for people exploring microdosing. The program will accompany customers from the first time they encounter iMicrodose products in Smartshops via the iMicrodose Media Information Centre (“iMIC“) with an educational interactive augmented reality app. The core of the digital care program is a privacy first iMicrodose Journal, a web app where people can anonymously document their microdosing and receive data driven analytics that will help them make informed choices around their usage. The app will use Radix Motion’s expertise in biometric human pose data to give people feedback on whether microdosing has measurable effects on reducing their physiological tension or influences other features of their body posture. People using the digital care program will be able to opt in to share their anonymous data with the wider community allowing for substantial advancements in research.

“As access to psychedelics grows we want to provide people with the support they need to make the most out of microdosing via digital health mechanisms, which now includes our iMicrodose digital care program,” said Todd Shapiro, the Chief Executive Officer and Director of the Company. “While other companies in the sector are focused on clinical trials which take years to prove out, this approach of Scarlette Lillie, our science and innovation division, can have immediate benefits. We want to be a part of understanding psilocybin usage now as the mental health crisis is rampant. Gatekeepers can be limiting. We believe in working with informed consumers who are willingly sharing their data.”

‘Digital Health’ is defined as the convergence of digital technologies with health, healthcare, living, and society to enhance the efficiency of healthcare delivery and make it more personalized and precise. Scarlette Lillie is pleased to continue their partnership with Sarah Hashkes, CEO of RadixMotion – who published the first academic paper using the Predictive Coding frameworks to explain what psychedelics do to brains – to create a personalized iMicrodose Journal, a web-based app where people will be able to document their psilocybin use and they will be able to opt in to share their anonymous important data with the community which can then potentially be shared with scientific and medical experts. Microdosing research is at its infancy and this data has huge potential to increase Scarlette Lillie’s understanding rapidly.

“We are excited that our expertise in neuroscience and immersive technology is giving people tools to understand themselves and promoting responsible use of psychedelics. Red Light Holland’s and Scarlette Lillie’s care for their customers is a beacon of hope in the emerging psychedelic market. The consent based approach this program is taking around customers’ data and communicating with customers, we believe, is revolutionary and we hope many companies will follow this example. We are also excited about the AR aspect where customers can receive inspirational messages based on the latest research on wellness when they aim the app at iMicrodose products,” said Sarah Hashkes, CEO of RadixMotion and Scarlette Lillie’s Scientific Advisor. “But where it gets really exciting, as a scientific researcher in psychedelics, is if people do trust us and opt in to share their anonymous data with the community we will have a data set that can take microdosing research to a whole new level. The journal will immediately provide people with analytics about their microdosing so they can find what works best for them, but in the long run, Scarlette Lillie can hopefully use this data, including the unique biometric human pose data, to potentially find out what works best for people all over the world.”

Scarlette Lillie Science and Innovation estimates the total cost for the iMicrodose Digital Care Program, including Augmented Reality for the in-store iMic centres and the iMicrodose web-app Journal to be approximately USD$85,000. The completion of the Augmented Reality for the in-store iMIC remains on pace, expected to be launched before the end of 2020 and the iMicrodose web-app Journal is expected to be completed by RadixMotion and available by the end of Q1 2021.

A D.C. ballot initiative to decriminalize the use of magic mushrooms and other psychedelic substances had a commanding lead Tuesday after a months-long campaign in which supporters collected signatures during the height of the coronavirus pandemic.

Voters were deciding whether the nation’s capital would join a handful of cities moving to decriminalize certain psychedelic plants and fungi. The measure states it would make prosecution of those who use and sell the substances “among the Metropolitan Police Department’s lowest law enforcement priorities.”

Early results showed the measure had the approval of about three-quarters of voters.

The D.C. Board of Elections allowed Initiative 81, also known as the Entheogenic Plant and Fungus Policy Act of 2020, on the ballot amid a $700,000 campaign in which proponents collected 25,000 signatures during the pandemic. The board’s decision came amid a nationwide debate about policing and the medical value of psychedelic drugs, which supporters say are beneficial in treating trauma.

The nation’s capital appeared to become at least the fifth jurisdiction in the nation with some form of decriminalized psychedelics, joining Denver; Oakland, Calif.; Santa Cruz, Calif.; and Ann Arbor, Mich., where the city council approved decriminalization in September. Oregon voters were casting ballots Tuesday on two related statewide initiatives.

The D.C. version was introduced by Melissa Lavasani, a city government employee who used microdoses of psychedelic mushrooms to help her recover from postpartum depression. Speaking Tuesday night to supporters of the measure, she said she hopes it’s a step toward normalizing plant medicine for the purpose of healing.

“We have changed the game here. We have shifted this dialogue,” she said. “We are trying to normalize mental health.”

If approved, the ballot initiative would go to the D.C. Council for review. If the council doesn’t overturn the measure — as it did in 2018 with an initiative that would have mandated a $15-per-hour minimum wage for tipped workers — it will be sent to Congress for review. If Congress doesn’t object within 30 legislative days — as it did when it blocked D.C.’s attempt to legalize marijuana in 1998 — the initiative would go into effect.

Lindsey Walton, a spokeswoman for D.C. Council Chairman Phil Mendelson (D), said in an email he “does not have a strong position on the initiative either way” and did not plan to block it if it passed.

In February, the D.C. Board of Elections approved Initiative 81 after supporters argued that ibogaine, mescaline and the hallucinogen psilocybin, among other chemicals, help people recover from post-traumatic stress disorder and addiction.

D.C. Mayor Muriel E. Bowser (D) said late last month that she would vote against the initiative.

“It seems like the issue is not an organically D.C.-created initiative, and I don’t typically favor those. I won’t be voting for it,” she said.

D.C. Mayor Bowser says she’ll vote ‘no’ on ballot question on psychedelic mushrooms

In September, D.C. Department of Health Director LaQuandra Nesbitt said it would be “very difficult” for her to support the use of psychedelic substances without further information about their long-term side effects.

“People talk about things being plant-based as if that makes them automatically healthy,” she said, noting that opioids and tobacco also come from plants.

Supporters of the campaign, funded by a political action committee supported by, among others, natural soap company Dr. Bronner’s, plastered D.C. with signs and paid more than 150 people as much as $10 per name to collect the signatures needed to get the initiative on the ballot. One-third of the signatures were collected virtually or by mail — a first for a D.C. ballot initiative — after the D.C. Council allowed remote collection in May amid the pandemic.

Supporters suspended their collection of signatures when Bowser declared a public health emergency in March. They turned to remote collection when the D.C. Council allowed signatures to be returned electronically and by mail in May. While there was little visible campaigning against the ballot measure, D.C. voters weighed in on the proposal at the polls

Lizzy Hampton, a 20-year-old student at George Washington University, voted early at School Without Walls High School last week. She said possessing such substances shouldn’t result in criminal penalties.

“People should have access to medicinal substances recreationally,” she said.

Darlene Frederick, a 70-year-old retiree who voted at the Columbia Heights Community Center, had a different view.

“I voted no because I thought it was silly,” she said. “Hallucinogenic drugs? Maybe I’m old.”
