Benton Resources Joins AGORACOM 100 With $15 Million In Cash And Great Canadian Metals Projects

Posted by AGORACOM at 3:40 PM on Friday, September 11th, 2009

I’m happy to announce that Benton Resources Corp (BTC:TSXV)  was added to the AGORACOM 100 today . The Company’s diverse property portfolio includes Canadian projects which are highly prospective for Gold, Uranium, Platinum, Palladium, Nickel and Copper.  I also like the fact that Benton’s coffers come armed with more than $15,000,000 in cash.

The AGORACOM 100 is meant to be a filter that provides investors with an ability to separate the wheat from the chafe – and Benton Resources is most definitely AGORACOM 100 material. The fact that Benton has chosen to make itself fully accessible via online investor relations and an electronic shareholder forum (all links below) tells you a lot about the company’s confidence.  You just don’t open yourself up to the public unless you believe in your story.  As such, I’m looking forward to sharing the company’s developments with you over the next 12 months and beyond.

Now, as a client of AGORACOM, assume I am horribly conflicted about the prospects for Benton Resources and do your own due diligence.  To that end, I’ve provided you with a running start below.

Highlights Include:

  • $15.2 Million in Cash
  • 34% ownership Coro Mining Corp (COP.TSX)
  • Ownership in Marathon PGM Corp (MAR.TSX)
  • Currently drilling second phase diamond drill program on the Copper Hill Block A Property

9/11 – The Real Tragedy Remains. Please Help First Responders

Posted by AGORACOM at 9:56 AM on Friday, September 11th, 2009

Our Chief Commentator, Peter Grandich, posted the following story on his blog.  I’d ask that you take a minute to visit http://www.fealgoodfoundation.com/ to understand what tens of thousands of first responders are going through and – if you can spare a couple of bucks – help contribute to the cause.  At the very least, if this story moves you, please share it with your networks via e-mail, Twitter, blog or any other means you have.

Thanks and God Bless,
George

We can’t all be heroes because somebody has to sit on the curb and clap as they go by.
Will Rogers

To many, September 11, 2001, was an American tragedy because of the life that was lost that day. I fully agree. But a far greater tragedy just began that day and eight years later has become America’s greatest tragedy IMHO.

40,000+ brave men and women went to Ground Zero when people like myself stayed far away as possible. Our government not only told them it was safe but encouraged their assistance. Now 70% of these folks have major illnesses, are dying or already have died. It won’t be too many more 911 anniversaries before more of these people will have died from illnesses from the recovery effort than died in the attack.

While the families of those killed were justifiably compensated for their loss, 911 First Responders haven’t received any real support that was so boldly promised in the days, weeks and months after the attack.

I’m truly ashamed of my government and felt powerless to help until I met my ultimate hero, John Feal. This one man, and some super human fellow 911 First Responders, have fought a 21st century David versus Goliath battle for these 40,000+ heroes.

I have so much I want to say to each and every one of them, starting with a most heart felt apology on behalf of my government for tragically failing them. I so much want to shake each and every hand and hug them all in the hopes of the smallest way that they know someone is forever grateful for their good deeds.

May God Bless each and everyone of them and all their love ones who have had to deal with this now 8 year tragedy.

“Jesus Said, ‘Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command.” John 15:13-14

AGORACOM Client Intelligence Report – September 2009

Posted by AGORACOM at 8:40 AM on Friday, September 11th, 2009

Welcome to all the new CEO’s and IRO’s who are receiving this month’s Small Cap Intelligence Report from AGORACOM Investor Relations.

WHY AN “INTELLIGENCE REPORT”

For the benefit of our new clients, we call this an “Intelligence Report” because it provides you with important information, data and trends that impact your business – information that you normally don’t have time to find.  We often write about these in The AGORACOM Blog, so we call these “On The Blog” Stories.

In addition, this article gives you a chance to look into our crystal ball and know what AGORACOM is working on months before the general public.  You can’t find these tidbits on our blog, so we call them “Off The Blog” and ask that you keep them confidential.  As you know, we move faster than any IR firm on the planet, so knowing what we’re doing in advance helps both of us coordinate our activities.  This is especially true for what we expect to be an extremely fast moving and exciting year.

In short, greater market intelligence that puts you ahead of all of your peers.

I can’t stress enough my recommendation that you review our monthly newsletter carefully for the purposes of incorporating some of our market intelligence into both your IR and business initiatives.

AGORACOM is now the largest small-cap IR firm and site on the continent thanks to our effective use of web technology.  As such, following us will help you achieve your goals.

This report gives you a quick review of the most important stories we’ve covered on the AGORACOM Blog over the last 30 days that either affect or help those involved in the small-cap market space.

In the future, if you’d like to read these stories as they happen just grab the RSS Feed here, bookmark or subscribe by email.

Enjoy!
