are uniquely positioned okay to deliver the material and to be the solution provider for EV’s environment we were about to slip we actually strongly believe that we have the. We we’re not using a complicated process fundamentally if you if you listen to what the Mr musk said it is battery days is he wants to use metallurgy grade silicon metal to make the material for batteries now what is implied in that is the truth all the other polls as the one from Salah and everybody else uses hi you purely material or more complex material like selling gas and all those type of problems which are more expensive but which I think can be is gonna be the exactly same thing console because it was somebody was telling selling me a process of talking about a process as we have the same cash cross you know the lowest cash gross yes it’s true but you need All new people by the way Bernard just for a minute just to go off on a tangent you ever everybody else was playing in the battery metal space still has to dig stuff out of the ground. For a lot of money. You don’t maybe just be 30 seconds long. It’s a question of a business plan there is the problem is if you have any money okay you don’t have to design a product to sell your product your your. You’re not looking into resolving solution you’re trying to figure a way to add value to your product okay what age did you does differently is. We understand the product which is silicone numbers and how it’s me okay we also understand the wrong product needs immediate made it is it is it it’s abundance its not really an issue especially our process which increase the availability so we focus much more on delivering tailor made the product that the bad is that the that the end buyers can buy so we’re not. You know it’s like it’s it’s it’s not the start records not double ports underground doesn’t really change anything as long as I can make the product the my buyer wants to go to the wall once I have so I’m really into those niche market and I don’t have to support money. That’s just the start up or everything else because as you eat it and you’ve seen the issues with other companies have you you’re trying to to basically yeah so so it’s it’s just that we’re working on a specific size range where that technology isn’t the most appropriate but our new technology is going to cover that specific pricing so as nano particles become more and more part of our daily life I’ll be adding it to a low cost capacity of manufacturing and industrial skills goals nanoparticle is going to be you know import. So let me ask you where you’re at right now because the last thing the last 2 things we know is this you’ve got a major auto manufacturer in the press release which I assume is a global automotive actually there are too many regional guys global automatic factor who likes the product so much it appears that they’ve already requested sample and potentially you’re expecting your first ever pre order and also the second thing we know is that you’re aiming for December to have the reactor ready and sending out samples to ever needs them so let us know where are you with both of those right now. Well we’re definitely on target you know December we did we did 3 actors going to start we’re going to you know that in our in the testing and everything else with that reactor to really figure out everything else but we’ll be producing enough material to send it to first of all to do it to me in our pre order which will then become full order and then descended to the tune to the tune 2 other battery manufactures have been asking you know. It’s asking for material so that’s phase one middle of next year we will have we will then probably end up being the major league of national producer because in a lot of system is gonna be producing 3.5 ton per year which is you know pretty much out there in regards to the materials and everything else and and then we’re going to be you know rolling from there as as the man comes in as as interest is gonna show which we are we’re sure it’s going to be it’s it’s it’s gonna be ringing out the door especially with this new press release today well we added an additional capacity so it’s going to be demonstrating that we can do it month and demonstrate how we can go more skill started selling and start you know negotiating long longer term deals with with different people we want to become the innovative solutions to common solution provider to you know every evening factors and battery manufacturers out there. And that’s what Martin does a real barbecue right because you’re able to. Take your product and almost customized for you what manufactures may want as opposed to George’s battery metal company I got to dig it out of the ground in 5 YEARS ON THE SILICON ROAD LESS TRAVELED

Over the past 5 years, HPQ has teamed up with 2 world renowned technology partners to manufacture high purity silicon cleaner, cheaper and better than anyone in the world – because you can’t dig it out of the ground like other battery metals such as graphite, cobalt and nickel. ONE STEP CARBON COATING NANO SILICON POWDERS AND NANOWIRES POTENTIAL GAME CHANGER ?

The Silicon coating concept was validated on Tesla Battery Day when:

Presently, advance coating processes, like Atomic Laser Disposition-coating (ALD) require:

  • An additional dedicated self-contain process for the coating of the material;
  • Capex for the dedicated process equipment;
  • Additional material handling (increasing contamination risk and operational costs).

Combining the carbon coating process into the same operation cycle that produces the silicon materials, the low-cost transformation of metallurgically produced Silicon into spherical silicon nano powders or nano wires, could be game changing for the industry.

SILICON POTENTIAL FOR BATTERY ANODE MATERIAL BECOMES MAINSTREAM

Tesla’s latest battery day presentation confirmed that the future of battery anodes will be Silicon. Tesla’s “… plans on removing graphite from the anode … ” points to the need for Innovative Silicon Solutions which HPQ is focused on, as Silicon only based anodes are not yet technically feasible – for now.

Presently, Silicon is used in a blended form with graphite and typically only represents around 5% by wt , which explains the limited performance improvements achieved to date. The primary hurdle to increasing Silicon anode content in Li-ion batteries is the mitigation of Silicon swelling and cracking during the lithiation phase 3 in order to achieve a cyclage stability comparable to graphite.

Ongoing R&D indicates that the two most promising avenues for resolving these issues are:

  1. Going small, nanosizing the Silicon in order to eliminate its cracking during the lithiation phase;
  2. Encapsulating the Silicon in order to manage its swelling and cracking

This is why HPQ NANO is looking forward to the December 2020 start of our first PUREVAP TM NSiR reactor and moving the Nano Silicon project to the validation phase, to resolve these issues.

APOLLON PROCESS: MAKING POROUS SILICON MANUFACTURING ECONOMICALLY VIABLE

Porous silicon is a Silicon (Si) structure in which Nanopores have been formed by electrochemical etching.  Addressable markets for porous silicon are substantial, but existing electrochemical etching processes require very pure Silicon (Si) feed stock (9N to 11N), making porous Silicon cost prohibitive.

To make affordable porous Silicon, Apollon developed and obtained a worldwide patent for an electrochemical etching process that can use (2N to 4N) Silicon (Si) to make porous Silicon wafers.

AIMING TO SEND POROUS SILICON NANOPOWDER SAMPLES TO END USERS BY DECEMBER 2020

HYDROLYSIS HYDROGEN PRODUCTION: APOLLON SOLAR’S GENNAO H2TM SYSTEM

Apollon Solar is also active in hydrogen based clean renewable energy.  Over the years, they have developed an expertise in hydrogen production by hydrolysis, getting porous silicon nano powders to react with water “H2O” and therewith releasing significant quantities of hydrogen “H2”.

Drawing on this unique expertise, Apollon was approached by the French government to develop a compact and portable hydrogen-based electricity generation system that must be reliable and efficient enough to charge military personnel batteries on missions.  This work led to the creation of the Gennao H2TM a self-contained system that integrates a fuel cell.  The system operation is simple; a chemical powder is introduced, and as the powder reacts with water, hydrogen is generated by hydrolysis and converted into electricity by the integrated fuel cell, thus allowing the system to charge several batteries at once.

The operational capabilities of the system having reached the validation phase of the French military program, Apollon Solar is now ready to start the commercialization of a civilian version of its GennaoTM H2 system.

COLLABORATION WITH HPQ SILICON TO CREATE MORE EFFICIENT AND ECONOMICAL HYDROGEN

With Apollon Solar’s Hydrogen business having entered the commercial phase, HPQ took advantage of the 5th renewal to include it in the scope of the agreement.

Even though using porous silicon nanopowders would double the amount of hydrogen released by the system, the high costs of making porous silicon nanopowders required Apollon to use a less efficient, but more economical and environmentally friendly chemical powder to launch its GennaoTM H2 system.

With a goal of increasing the efficiency of the system, HPQ and Apollon will explore the technical and commercial potential of creating a new generation of more efficient, economical and environmentally friendly powders for the GennaoTM system using either:

  1. Silicon nanopowders made by HPQ’s PUREVAPTM Nano Silicon Reactor to increase the H2 generation potential of the GennaoTM H2 system by 40% (based on the mass capacity production of H2 of 14% of Silicon Nanopowders);
       a. By December 2020, HPQ-NANO plans to send Apollon the first samples of silicon nanopowders manufactured by PUREVAPTM NSiR for H2 generation testing;

  2. Porous silicon nanopowders manufactured with the transformation of Silicon produced by HPQ’s PUREVAPTM QRR process in Apollon’s patented process, to increase the H2 generation potential of the GennaoTM H2 system by 100% (based on the mass capacity production of H2 of 20% of Silicon Nanopowders);

Also included in the agreement is the right for HPQ to commercialize, exclusively in Canada, and non-exclusive in the U.S.A., the GennaoTM H2 system, as well as, also distribute and sell the powders required for the hydrolysis production of Hydrogen (“H2”).

Apollon will support HPQ North American marketing of the GennaoTM H2 system and the powder bags.  By November 2020, Apollon will make available to HPQ a GennaoTM H2 system and the bags of powder needed for demonstration to potential buyers.

During the term of this fifth renewal, Apollon and HPQ will work to finalize a long-term commercial agreement that will grant HPQ (or one of its subsidiaries) a Canadian exclusivity for the sale of GennaoTM H2 system and associated powders bags, and the exclusivity for all customers located in the United States to whom HPQ is marketing GennaoTM H2 system.

MONTREAL, Sept. 09, 2020 — HPQ Silicon Resources Inc. (“HPQ” or “the Company”) TSX-V: HPQ; FWB: UGEOther OTC : URAGF; is issuing this press release in response to recent market activity.  HPQ does not usually comment on stock price and trading activity, however, given recent activity and inquiries from investors, the Company would like to confirm that everything material about the Company’s operations has been disclosed and that HPQ is on target to produce our strongly sought-after nano silicon powders and nanowires for delivery and testing to battery industry parties in December.

The Company also confirms the September 3, 2020 closing of the $2,700,000 at $0.60, non-brokered private placement, announced on September 1, 2020.  As a result of this financing, HPQ has never been as well funded to push forward on our nano silicon initiatives for the battery sector and others renewable energy applications, from which HPQ has currently announced two (2) NDA’s (Non-Disclosure Agreements).

INTEREST IN PUREVAPTM NSiR GAME CHANGING LOW COST POTENTIAL

Research indicates that replacing graphite with Nano Silicon (Si) Powders could allow the manufacturing of high-performance Li-ion batteries to deliver an almost tenfold (10x) increase in anode capacity, inducing a 20-40% gain in the energy density of the next generation of Li-Ion batteries. Silicon Nanomaterial potential to meet energy storage demand of the future is undeniable and is generating massive investments.

Despite the strong research and investment in Silicon nanomaterial, current manufacturing processes to make Nano Silicon powders are not scalable or commercially viable. By December of this year, HPQ will be on the starting blocks of demonstrating a process that can address both the scalability and cost hurdles required by the industry.
