How do you connect over 100M small businesses in China who need access to different kinds of credit …. with 1000’s of banks and lending institutions that have different lending criteria?
Well, if you try to do it the old fashioned way, you just can’t. This forces SMB’s (small and medium businesses) and lenders to deal within local markets, which drastically reduces alternatives, competition and ultimately business …. while leaving both sides with a daunting, slow and inefficient manual workload.

Announced that it has signed an agreement with high-end Italian retailer Gruppo Coin (“Coin”) to provide short-term loans to Coin’s social-media-influencer online sales partners.
Coin (https://en.coin.it/), Italy’s largest chain of department stores, was one of the first foreign retailers to recognize and leverage the power of social media influencers to sell their products in the world’s largest retail market.
Chinese influencers are using popular social media platforms such as TikTok, Sina Weibo and WeChat to revolutionize online retail sales. They create entertaining shows broadcasted on the platforms during which they promote and sell products with which they are associated.
A show will typically cost $1,000 to $10,000 to produce, including promoting it to followers, detailing the products and the limited quantities available for the show in order to create a buzz and the FOMO (fear of missing out) factor with their followers
Montreal, Quebec–(December 1, 2020) – Peak Fintech Group Inc. (CSE: PKK) (OTCQX: PKKFF) (“Peak” or the “Company”), an innovative Fintech service provider to the Chinese commercial lending sector, today announced that it has signed an agreement with high-end Italian retailer Gruppo Coin (“Coin”) to provide short-term loans to Coin’s social-media-influencer online sales partners.
A show will typically cost $1,000 to $10,000 to produce, including promoting it to followers, detailing the products and the limited quantities available for the show in order to create a buzz and the FOMO (fear of missing out) factor with their followers. On average, each influencer will produce about 250 shows per year. The average show typically lasts 3 to 4 hours and offers a variety of products. Top influencers are usually able to sell out their inventory of a particular product within the first 10 minutes of the product being presented. Many influencers have achieved celebrity status, and this is rapidly becoming the preferred way to sell a variety of products in China, from cosmetics to clothing to small appliances and everything in between. In addition to the cost of producing the shows, the influencers must provide their large retail partners with a deposit of 20% to 30% of the value of the products they expect to sell for each show. This is where Peak and the Cubeler Lending Hub come into the equation. With today’s announced agreement, Coin’s influencer partners will be eligible to have the cost of producing their shows, their required cash deposits and their entire product orders financed through the Lending Hub. Peak will earn its customary ~ 2% fee of the value of the loans provided for facilitating the transactions.
“We’ve been studying this space for months, identifying some of the top influencers and brand ambassadors on China’s top social media platforms,” commented Peak China CEO Liang Qiu. “We now have a network of almost 55,000 influencers, each either with their own e-Shops or affiliated with at least one e-Shop, over 120M combined followers and a proven track record of being able to effectively move products. With a network of followers more than 3 times larger than the entire Canadian population, we believe we’re well positioned to talk to virtually any retailer or brand around the world to offer an effective gateway into the Chinese retail space,” concluded Mr. Qiu.
“One of Peak’s objectives has always been to serve as a bridge that connects North American investors and businesses to China,” said Peak CEO Johnson Joseph. “We’ve been working very hard behind the scenes for quite a while now on a way to help Canadian businesses either do more business in China or gain access to the Chinese market. Although the agreement announced today is not with a Canadian company, it certainly sets the stage for us to sign similar agreements with Canadian retailers. Our network of influencers is already excited about the prospects of selling ice wine and a variety of uniquely Canadian products not typically available in China. By capitalizing on the power of social media, I think we’re once again proving our ability to innovate and think outside the box when it comes to the many ways in which we can use the Lending Hub for the benefit of small businesses and entrepreneurs.”

First supply-chain financing related services, previously outsourced, provided through Gold River 2.0 platform
Third Quarter Financial and Operating Results Summary
“As we expected, the demand for our services, particularly as it pertains to the supply-chain, reached a new level in the third quarter, but we’re still very much in the early stages of our client acquisition plan in that vertical,” commented Peak Group CEO, Johnson Joseph. “The vast majority of our supply-chain financing business is still financing purchase orders placed with a few raw material suppliers by 200 or so manufacturers. The objective is to work our way down the transactional supply-chain where we can finance purchase orders placed with thousands of manufacturers and distributors by tens of thousands of retailers, and we began to see some of those transactions in the latter part of the quarter”.
“The financing services related to transactions between material suppliers and manufacturers that took place in Q3 were bundled with logistics services. We outsourced those services because we didn’t have the software system through which the purchase orders could be placed and some of the logistics services provided. But that’s in the process of changing. We spent the better part of a year making adjustments to Gold River to be able to provide those services ourselves, which should dramatically reduce our outsourcing expenses,” concluded Mr. Joseph.
The continued geographic expansion of Peak’s services certainly played a role in the increase in the quarterly revenue, but it’s really the demand from the supply-chain vertical itself, mostly in the cities where the financing services were already being provided, that has had the biggest impact on the revenue growth.
The revenue trajectory on which the Company now finds itself, combined with the impact that the re-emergence of its Gold River platform is expected to have on future outsourcing expenses, bolstered the Company’s 2021 profit repatriation plans. Peak therefore engaged with consultants and advisors during the quarter to begin implementing the mechanisms prescribed by the Chinese government for foreign companies to repatriate profits from their Chinese subsidiaries. Other than the aforementioned outsourcing expenses, fees paid out to consultants and advisors represented the biggest expenses for the Company in Q3.
In summary, the Company generated revenue of $15,116,369 for the three-month period and $26,329,268 for the nine-month period ended September 30, 2020, compared to $4,499,953 for the three-month period and $7,351,186 for the nine-month period ended September 30, 2019.
Total expenses before taxes for the quarter amounted to $15,505,739, compared to $4,998,367 for the same period in 2019. The net (after tax) loss for Q3 was $512,874 compared to $777,316 for the same period of 2019.
Full details of the Company’s third quarter 2020 financial results can be found in the Unaudited Condensed Interim Consolidated Financial Statements and Management’s Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) for the three-month and nine-month periods ended September 30, 2020 and 2019, which are available at www.sedar.com.

Announced that it has signed an agreement with packaged foods wholesale distributor Beijing Jingying Corporate Management Ltd. to bring Peak’s Cubeler Lending Hub financing solution to BJM and its more than 250,000 retail clients
Peak launched a financing program powered by Lending Hub in October specifically designed to provide better cash flow flexibility to large wholesale distributors and their retail clients
The program, which recorded its first transactions a week ago, allows for retailers to have up to 90% of the price of the products they purchase from participating distributors financed by the Lending Hub’s banks and lending institution
Montreal, Quebec–(November 19, 2020) – Peak Positioning Technologies Inc. (CSE: PKK) (OTCQX: PKKFF) (“Peak” or the “Company”), an innovative Fintech service provider to the Chinese commercial lending sector, today announced that it has signed an agreement with packaged foods wholesale distributor Beijing Jingying Corporate Management Ltd. (“BJM”) to bring Peak’s Cubeler Lending Hub financing solution to BJM and its more than 250,000 retail clients.
Peak launched a financing program powered by Lending Hub in October specifically designed to provide better cash flow flexibility to large wholesale distributors and their retail clients. The program, which recorded its first transactions a week ago, allows for retailers to have up to 90% of the price of the products they purchase from participating distributors financed by the Lending Hub’s banks and lending institutions.
BJM is the second wholesale distributor to subscribe to the program joining consumer electronics product distributor Beijing Dianjing Company Ltd., which helped launch the program with its 60,000 plus online retail clients. BJM is a major distributor of a variety of popular products from China Oil and Foodstuffs Corporation (COFCO), for which it has exclusive distribution rights to approximately 200,000 Petro-China convenience stores and on online retail giant JD.com. COFCO is a state-owner food processing company. It’s China’s largest food processor, manufacturer and commodities trader. With operations in Japan, the US, the UK, Australia and Canada, it’s one of the largest agribusiness groups in all of Asia.
Most recently BJM became an authorized distributor of RELX brand e-cigarettes, one of China’s most popular and fastest growing brands of e-cigarettes, sold at over 3,000 retail outlets throughout the country.
“We are very pleased to be joining this wonderful financing program created by Peak,” commented Mr. Yang Zhang, CEO of BJM. “We have no doubt that this will be extremely beneficial to most of our clients and we very much look forward to getting them signed up as quickly as possible,” he went on to say.
“I would like to take this opportunity to welcome Mr. Zhang and BJM to our new Lending Hub financing program and look forward to working with him and his team,” said Peak Group China CEO, Mr. Liang Qiu. “BJM’s arrival to the program brings us a great mixture of online and offline stores and allows us to further showcase Lending Hub’s versatility when it comes to its ability to help businesses up and down the supply chain whether they operate predominantly online or offline. We’ve noticed somewhat of a blurring of the online and offline retail space lately including JD.com announcing plans for a network of 5 million brick-and-mortar stores in the next 3 years. I think with Lending Hub’s ability to process and analyze data coming from its member businesses both online and offline, Peak is ideally positioned to play an increasingly important role in this blurring or evolution of the retail space,” concluded Mr. Qiu.

Announced that its Cubeler Lending Hub commercial lending platform has facilitated the first transactions related to a program created by the Company and consumer electronics wholesale distributor Beijing Dianjing Company Ltd. (“BDC”) to bring financing solutions to BDC’s 60,000 online retail clients
Newly-created purchase order financing program allows BDC’s clients, who collectively sell about CAD$50B worth of consumer electronics per year, to have up to 90% of the price of the products they purchase financed by any bank or lending institution represented on the Lending Hub.
Purchase orders for iPhones totalling a combined 48M RMB (about CAD$9.5M) coming from four JD.com (www.jd.com) affiliated stores were the first orders approved for funding through the program
\Montreal, Quebec–(November 12, 2020) – Peak Positioning Technologies Inc. The newly-created purchase order financing program allows BDC’s clients, who collectively sell about CAD$50B worth of consumer electronics per year, to have up to 90% of the price of the products they purchase financed by any bank or lending institution represented on the Lending Hub.
Purchase orders for iPhones totalling a combined 48M RMB (about CAD$9.5M) coming from four JD.com (www.jd.com) affiliated stores were the first orders approved for funding through the program. The platform collected a fee equivalent to 2% of the annualized interest rate charged by the lender to finance the orders. The financing program was expected to start in early December, but pressing demand from the stores led Peak and BDC to take special measures to allow for these first transactions to be processed while the program is still undergoing minor adjustments.
“Our market research showed that there would be strong demand from online retailers for Lending Hub’s services, but we weren’t expecting to have to start the program almost a full month ahead of schedule,” commented Peak Group China CEO, Mr. Liang Qiu. “Retailers continuously buy and sell inventory and thus have an ongoing need for credit, a need that wasn’t properly addressed until today. We created a program that uses AI and analytics to help retailers buy more products from wholesalers, and are working with some of the country’s largest wholesale distributors to expand it nationwide. I think we have a unique opportunity here to positively impact a large segment of China’s CAD$6.5 trillion annual retail market. This is yet another way in which we believe we can accelerate the proliferation of the Lending Hub to every part of the country.”
