November 13th, 2018 / Rockport, Canada – New Age Metals Inc. (NAM) (TSX.V: NAM; OTCQB: NMTLF; FSE: P7J.F) New Age Metals is pleased to provide an update on the current surface exploration program on the company’s Lithium One Project. The company’s Lithium Division, Lithium Canada Development, has an aggressive exploration program for 2018. The Joint Venture with New Age Metals and Azincourt Energy, has eight Lithium Projects in the Winnipeg River Pegmatite Field, located in SE Manitoba (Figure 1).

Lithium One Project

A field crew was active in the late summer and early fall exploring on the Lithium One Project. The reported results are from the Silverleaf Pegmatite (Figure 2). The Annie and other pegmatites from the Lithium One Project have been assayed and assay results are pending.

The Lithium One Project is located 125 kilometres northeast of Winnipeg, Manitoba and is geologically characterized as being a part of the Cat Lake-Winnipeg River Pegmatite Field.

This Pegmatite Field is host to the world-class Tanco Pegmatite, which has been mined since 1969 for Tantalum, Cesium, and Spodumene (a Lithium bearing ore). Historically the Lithium One Project area is known for the presence of numerous surface Pegmatites of various dimensions and compositions (see Figure 3).

The Silverleaf Pegmatite (Figure 4) is a zoned complex Lithium-bearing Pegmatite with a surface exposure of approximately 80 metres x 45 metres. The Pegmatite is exposed in the northeast and strikes under cover to the southwest. Samples taken from the Lepidolite-Spodumene Zone yielded assays from 1.81% to 4.09% Li2O and 0.63% to 6.11% Rb2O.

This zone is approximately 50 metres x 20 metres in size and extends into a historic excavated open pit. The historic open pit area originates from the late 1920s, when a bulk sample of Spodumene was mined from the southwest side of the Silverleaf Pegmatite. Large scale mining operations were not undertaken at that time. The area has seen sporadic exploration activity with focus on base metals and tantalum with minor exploration for Lithium.

In an effort to check the purity of the Spodumene, a sample of Spodumene blades was sampled from the Silverleaf Pegmatite. This sample yielded an assay of 8.76 % Li2O. A review of Spodumene mineral data at the Webmineral website indicates that Spodumene crystal can

(https://webmineral.com/data/Spodumene.shtml#.W-ShltVKipo) have a Lithium content from 3.73 to 8.03% Li2O. This would tend to indicate that the Spodumene crystals present at the Silverleaf Pegmatite are of a very high Lithium content.

The Spodumene blades at the surface of the Silverleaf Pegmatite can reach a length of up to 40 centimeters and a width of 10 centimeters (see Figure 5 and 6). The Spodumene blades are surrounded by Lithium bearing purple micas (Lepidolite).

In geological terms, the Silverleaf Pegmatites encountered on the Lithium One Project is a LCT Type (Lithium-Cesium-Tantalum) Pegmatites

QA/QC Protocol

All samples were analyzed at the Activation Laboratories facility, in Ancaster, Ontario. Samples were prepared, using the lab’s Code RX1 procedure. Samples are crushed, up to 95% passing through a 10 mesh, riffle split, and then pulverized, with mild steel, to 95%, passing 105 ?m. Analyses were completed, using the lab’s Ultratrace 7 Package; a Sodium Peroxide Fusion which allows for total metal recovery and is effective for analysis of Sulphides and refractory minerals. Assay analyses are carried out, using ICP-OES and ICP-MS instrumentation. New Age Metals implemented a QA/QC field program with insertion of blanks at regular intervals. Activation Laboratories has their own internal QA/QC procedures that it carries out for all sample batches.

Option/Joint Venture Agreement

In January of 2018, NAM announced a signed final agreement with Azincourt Energy Corp. (TSX.V: AAZ) for the Manitoba Lithium Projects. (News Release: January 15th, 2018) This Pegmatite Field hosts the world class Tanco Pegmatite that has been mined for Tantalum, Cesium and Spodumene (one of the primary Lithium ore minerals) in varying capacities, since 1969. NAM’s Lithium Projects are strategically situated in this prolific Pegmatite Field. Presently, NAM, under its subsidiary Lithium Canada Developments, is one of the largest mineral claim holders in the Winnipeg River Pegmatite Field for Lithium. Azincourt Energy Corp. as our option/joint venture is financed for and has committed to a minimum of $600,000 to be expended on exploration in Manitoba for 2018. ABOUT NAM’S PGM DIVISION

NAM’s flagship project is its 100% owned River Valley PGM Project (NAM Website – River Valley Project) in the Sudbury Mining District of Northern Ontario (100 km east of Sudbury, Ontario). See results from the most recent NI 43-101 resource update below in Table 1. NAM management and consultants are currently designing a complete drill program to be executed in 2019 for the River Valley Project. This plan will consider previously proposed drill parameters and will be based on the most recent geophysical assessment and consultant expertise. The projects first economic study, a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) is underway and is being overseen by Mr. Michael Neumann, P.Eng., a veteran mining engineer and one of NAM’s directors. On April 4th, 2018, NAM signed an agreement with one of Alaska’s top geological consulting companies. The companies stated objective is to acquire additional PGM and Rare Metal projects in Alaska. On April 18th, 2018, NAM announced the right to purchase 100% of the Genesis PGM Project, NAM’s first Alaskan PGM acquisition related to the April 4th agreement. The Genesis PGM Project is a road accessible, under explored, highly prospective, multi-prospect drill ready Palladium (Pd)- Platinum (Pt)- Nickel (Ni)- Copper (Cu) property. A comprehensive report on previous exploration and future phases of work was completed by Avalon Development of Fairbanks Alaska in August 2018 on Genesis. A full sampling program will be conducted to continue to outline additional mineralization along the 800-meter by 40-meter mineralized zone

On August 29, the Avalon report was submitted to NAM, management is actively seeking an option/joint-venture partner for this road accessible PGM and Multiple Element Project using the Prospector Generator business model.

The results of the updated Mineral Resource Estimate for NAM’s flagship River Valley PGM Project are tabulated in Table 1 below (0.4 g/t PdEq cut-off).

Keep Your Eye on Raw Materials: A Bull Market Could Be Coming $LBSR $NAM.ca $TN.ca

As one bull market appears to be nearing its end, another may soon be on the horizon. Following years of underinvestment and tepid growth, raw materials in the form of copper, aluminum and nickel could be poised for a dramatic rebound.

The Next Bull Market?

Stocks, cryptocurrencies and even energy have taken the shine away from primary metals in recent years, but that could be about to change as investors look for new market-beating revenue streams. According to The Wall Street Journal, prices of copper, aluminum and nickel could rise more than 40% in the coming years as markets grapple with a severe supply crunch following a prolonged period of underinvestment.

This year, spending among global mining companies is expected to fall to less than a third of 2013 levels, when investment in new mines topped $121 billion. The year before, spending reached $144.05 billion, according to data from Wood Mackenzie. In 2018, total spend on new mining projects is expected to reach $35.4 billion. For many analysts, this means a major supply crunch is on the horizon.

Demand Drivers

On the demand side, the growth and widespread adoption of electric vehicles will only exacerbate the supply gap as manufacturers raise order books for copper and aluminum. According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), the number of electric vehicles on the road is forecast to reach 125 million by 2030 compared with just 3.1 million in 2017. The surge in electric vehicles also means higher demand for lithium and cobalt, two key components in electric-car batteries.

A growing global economy also playing into the hands of raw materials. Although the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is forecasting slower growth over the next two years, the downbeat view is largely tied to U.S.-China trade relations. Emerging-market growth remains an important driver for commodities.

Assets to Consider

Market participants wishing to gain exposure to raw materials have several options to choose from. In addition to trading futures contracts, resource-rich exchange-traded funds (ETFs) are an easy way to play the market, especially for the long haul. Some of the most notable are SPDR S&P Metals & Mining ETF (XME), Global X Lithium & Battery Tech ETF (LIT), iShares MSCI Global Metals & Mining Producers ETF (PICK) and Global X Copper Miners ETF (COPX). The SPDR S&P Global Natural Resources ETF (GNR) is also an option for those looking for a higher concentration of energy companies.

In terms of individual stocks, large miners such as Glencore Plc (GLEN), Rio Tinto PLC (RIO) and Vale SA (VALE 3) also provide a good option for diversifying into the sector. In addition to being global mining heavyweights, these companies share something else in common: they have significantly reduced capital expenditure in recent years (once again, this plays into the narrative that supply constraints will drive up the value of raw materials).

Investors betting big on the electric-car revolution have no doubt placed Tesla Inc. (TSLA) on their radar. For all its recent troubles, Elon Musk’s company recently reported a massive earnings beat, including a return to profitability for the first time since Q3 2016.

In addition to Tesla, automotive suppliers are also poised for a major breakout should the electric-car revolution play out as expected. Some companies to put on the short list are Aptiv PLC (APTV), Delphi Technologies PLC (DLPH), Magna International Inc. (MGA) and TE Connectivity Ltd. (TEL).

The production of the material that are essential in making batteries for electric vehicles will impact the market in the forthcoming years.

For lithium producers, the inability to lift output fast enough to meet the demand for the most coveted material, essential for producing electric vehicle batteries, will undoubtedly cause some problems in the forthcoming years. This was revealed earlier this week by the sector’s newest public company, Livent Corp who have expressed their worries about the greater risks imposed in the near future, thanks to the consistent deficit on the market.

“We think demand is going to grow almost five times larger in 2025 than it was in 2017,” CEO Paul Graves said in an interview Thursday in New York, as the supplier made its trading debut. “Our biggest challenge is producing enough to meet the demand — there’s a much greater risk that this market is consistently in a deficit in the near future.”

The long-term outlook considering the lithium demand from Livent, a spinoff from chemical maker FMC Corp., is shared by their competitors, like the Chinese-based company Jiangxi Ganfeng Lithium Co., which this week sold shares in Hong Kong for the first time. However, it seems that the investors haven’t been immediately swayed, focusing instead on concerns new supply may flood the market in the short term. Furthermore, the potential decline, coming after a rally that tripled prices in the three years through 2017, also causes concern for potential investors.

Hence, the shares of the Philadelphia-based Livent closed little changed Thursday, while Ganfeng plunged 29 percent on its Hong Kong debut.

“The poor performance reflects lack of confidence in the near-term lithium market,” Argonaut Securities (Asia) Ltd. analysts including Helen Lau said in a Friday note. “We think markets have indeed over-reacted to the current price performance and overlooked the demand growth prospects.”

There are several reasons behind the inability for these companies to lift output fast enough to meet the demand set forth by the world car industry. For some, it’s the capital they’re unable to raise that would fuel their expansion. Some others are faced with face regulatory hurdles, dimming the supply outlook. For Livent’s Graves, 47, who was FMC’s CFO and worked at Goldman Sachs Group Inc. for 12 years, including as co-head of natural resources in Asia, expansion into other countries is needed in order to meet the ever increasing demand for this material.

“Our next priority is to expand our Argentina production as quickly as we can to meet that downstream need,” he said.

Even more, according to Ganfeng’s Vice Chairman Wang Xiaoshen, giving an interview Tuesday, there is a potential risk of a lithium shortage longer term, particularly from around 2023 to 2024, when production of electric vehicles is set to accelerate even further. And that could cause additional problems. The world is gearing up for an electric revolution, but it seems that the lithium industry – the one supplying its core materials – may not yet be ready for it.

The company’s Lithium Division, Lithium Canada Development, has an aggressive exploration plan for 2018. The Joint Venture with New Age Metals and Azincourt Energy, has eight Lithium Projects in the Winnipeg River Pegmatite Field, located in SE Manitoba (Figure 1).

Lithium Two Project

Two phases of surface exploration were carried out on the Lithium Two Project during the summer. Grab samples, channel samples and fractionation samples were collected. Fractionation samples will give an indication of the degree of fractionation of sampled pegmatites. Fractionated pegmatites are more conducive to containing Lithium and Rare Metal minerals.

The Lithium Two Project has several historically known Spodumene bearing pegmatites (see Figure 2). The Eagle Pegmatite was drilled in 1947 with a historic (non 43-101 compliant) tonnage estimate of 544,460 tonnes with a grade of 1.4% Li2O to the 61-meter level. The deposit remains open to depth. The FD5 Pegmatite, located east of the Eagle Pegmatite has never been drilled. Historic assessment reports revealed a Spodumene bearing pegmatite drilled in the late 1940’s, located approximately 500 meters southeast of the Eagle Pegmatite but not exposed on surface. No grades were provided in the report. This pegmatite as well as the Eagle and FD5 will be tested during the upcoming drill program. Drill work permits have been applied for and the company is waiting for approval from the province.

A Phase One surface exploration program was carried out earlier in the summer (see News Release: August 16th, 2018). Follow up sampling was carried out during the Phase Two surface exploration program on the FD5 Pegmatite (see Table 1) and the Eagle Pegmatite (see Table 2). The Lithium grades at the FD5 did not change as samples were collected for fractionation but there was an increase in Lithium assays at the Eagle Pegmatite with assays up to 3.8% Li2O. The field program focussed on more detailed structural geological mapping and mapping of the westward extent of the Eagle Pegmatite.

The company entered into an agreement (News Release: July 11th, 2018) with Grid Metals (formerly Mustang Minerals) for the rights to explore for Lithium and Rare Metals on the claim directly adjacent to the west of the Lithium Two Project. During the Phase Two surface exploration the westward extension was mapped for approximately 300 meters into the westward claim. Detailed mapping has extended the length of the Eagle Pegmatite to approximately 900 meters that has been examined in the field from surface outcrop exposures. The pegmatite remains open along strike where it goes under overburden. Samples on the west side of the Eagle Pegmatite returned only weak Lithium mineralization on surface (see Table 3) but contained a larger proportion of Lepidolite (a Lithium Mica) and therefore elevated Rubidium values.

Even though Lithium is the main focus of the exploration it should be noted that the pegmatites also show elevated Tantalum values that may be of an economic interest. Pegmatites elsewhere on the project did not reveal significant Lithium mineralization; however, several were elevated in Tantalum. Fractionation assays are presently being reviewed by the company’s geological consultants. Results will be reported at a later date when a review of the feldspar and mica fractionation results for the summer pegmatite exploration is undertaken.

Table 1: FD5 Pegmatite – 2018 Assays

In an effort to check the purity of the Spodumene, a sample of Spodumene blades was sampled from the FD5 Pegmatite. This sample yielded an assay of 7.62% Li2O. A review of Spodumene Mineral Data (https://webmineral.com/data/Spodumene) indicates that Spodumene can have a Li2O content from 3.73 to 8.03% Li2O. This would tend to indicate that the Spodumene present in the pegmatites dykes on the project is of a high purity.

In geological terms, the pegmatites encountered on the Lithium Two Project are LCT Type (Lithium-Cesium-Tantalum) Pegmatites and are in the Albite-Spodumene Subgroup. Spodumene is expressed in the pegmatites as small green blades up to 3 centimeters in length. The Eagle Pegmatite is a west-northwest to west-striking, vertically dipping, lenticular pegmatite dyke intruded into mafic volcanics. The widths of the pegmatite have been measured to be between 2 to 10 meters. The Eagle Pegmatite system appears to be a swarm of closely spaced pegmatite bodies.

Assay analyses are carried out, using ICP-OES and ICP-MS instrumentation. New Age Metals implemented a QA/QC field program with insertion of blanks at regular intervals. Activation Laboratories has their own internal QA/QC procedures that it carries out for all sample batches.

Stock Option Grant

In addition, the Company announces that it has granted 300,000 incentive stock options to consultants of the Company at an exercise price of $0.12 per share for a period of five (5) years from the date of grant in accordance with the Company’s Stock Option Plan. The Stock Options granted will be subject to vesting restrictions, acceptance by the TSX Venture Exchange and will be subject to regulatory hold periods in accordance with applicable Canadian Securities Laws.

Joint Venture Agreement

In January of 2018, NAM announced a signed final agreement with Azincourt Energy Corp. (TSX.V: AAZ) for the Manitoba Lithium Projects. (News Release: January 15th, 2018) This Pegmatite Field hosts the world class Tanco Pegmatite that has been mined for Tantalum, Cesium and Spodumene (one of the primary Lithium ore minerals) in varying capacities, since 1969. NAM’s Lithium Projects are strategically situated in this prolific Pegmatite Field. Presently, NAM, under its subsidiary Lithium Canada Developments, is one of the largest mineral claim holders in the Winnipeg River Pegmatite Field for Lithium. Azincourt Energy Corp. as our option/joint venture is financed for and has committed to a minimum of $600,000 to be expended on exploration in Manitoba for 2018.

ABOUT NAM’S PGM DIVISION

NAM’s flagship project is its 100% owned River Valley PGM Project (NAM Website – River Valley Project) in the Sudbury Mining District of Northern Ontario (100 km east of Sudbury, Ontario). On April 4th, 2018, NAM signed an agreement with one of Alaska’s top geological consulting companies. The companies stated objective is to acquire additional PGM and Rare Metal projects in Alaska. On April 18th, 2018, NAM announced the right to purchase 100% of the Genesis PGM Project, NAM’s first Alaskan PGM acquisition related to the April 4th agreement. The Genesis PGM Project is a road accessible, under explored, highly prospective, multi-prospect drill ready Palladium (Pd)- Platinum (Pt)- Nickel (Ni)- Copper (Cu) property. A comprehensive report on previous exploration and future phases of work was completed by Avalon Development of Fairbanks Alaska in August 2018 on Genesis. A full sampling program will be conducted to continue to outline additional mineralization along the 800-meter by 40-meter mineralized zone

On August 29, the Avalon report was submitted to NAM, management is actively seeking an option/joint-venture partner for this road accessible PGM and Multiple Element Project using the Prospector Generator business model.

  • Palladium has been trading at a premium to platinum for the majority of the past year, contrary to the two platinum-group metals’ (PGM) historical relationship.

Palladium Peaks

While other metals have had their ups and down, palladium has been soaring this year.

Palladium has been trading at a premium to platinum for the majority of the past year, contrary to the two platinum-group metals’ (PGM) historical relationship. In fact, palladium recently breached the $1,000 per ounce mark for the first time in eight months, and earlier this week hit a record high of $1,150.50 an ounce.

Palladium is most commonly known for its use in automotive catalytic converters.

The price has surged so much that some analysts have cautioned about a possible correction for the surging PGM.

The DOC calculated countervailing duties as high as 145.37%.

In 2017, the value of imports of the steel propane cylinders reached $89.8 million.

  • On October 22, 2018 NAM and the Sagkeeng Anicinabe Nation (Sagkeeng) signed an Exploration Agreement. The objective of the agreement is to promote a cooperative and mutually respectful relationship concerning certain mineral exploration projects being developed by NAM, and any additional mining claims or properties in which NAM may acquire an interest, located within Sagkeeng Traditional Territory.
  • NAM has eight pegmatite hosted Lithium Projects in the Winnipeg River Pegmatite Field, located in SE Manitoba

  • The SA platinum group metal (PGM) industry has been in a near decade-long downturn as demand shocks and a pessimistic outlook pushed prices to what we believe to be unsustainably low levels.

Unprofitable supply has been slow to reduce due to high barriers to exit. Sentiment towards the sector is incredibly low due to the labour-intensive, deep-level nature of SA’s industry as well as concerns surrounding the long-term demand for PGMs as the European diesel share declines and the world shifts towards electric vehicles.

The negative sentiment is so great that despite a 36% increase in the industry’s rand revenue basket to near record highs, most equity prices continue to trade at distressed levels. Only Amplats has had a positive return over this period.

PGM comprises five precious metals, of which platinum, palladium and rhodium are the most important. These are referred to as 3E metals. The demand side of the 3E market is dominated by catalytic converters for internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles, making up 70% of global demand. We are optimistic about the market for the following reasons:

• The outlook for global vehicle sales is good, driven by emerging markets.

• We expect 3E demand to grow over the next decade as environmental legislation in China and the rest of the world forces car makers to use more metal in their vehicles.

• We feel these new legislations are being underestimated. In the next five years, China, the largest vehicle market, will have the strictest emissions standards in the world.

The balance of the market is split between jewellery and industrial catalysts with 9% and 21% respectively. We expect this portion of demand to see slight growth over the next decade. The negativity on the demand side has been driven by the outlook for European diesel sales as well as the rise of battery electric vehicles (BEVs). While the outlook for European diesel is negative, it is important to note that it is only 12% of 3E demand and we do expect this to decline.

We believe in the long-term prospects of BEVs but are cognisant of the challenges facing the technology. Our key takeaway from the work we have done on the future of the vehicle industry is that the transition of the industry will be evolutionary rather than revolutionary.

Importantly, we see a period of mass hybridisation over the next decade before BEVs start to become more affordable for the mass market. We anticipate a shift towards a portfolio of technologies including BEVs, a variety of hybrids as well as fuel cell vehicles. As investors in the PGM sector, our biggest worry is BEV adoption, as these have no PGMs in the vehicle at all. In our forecasts out to 2030, we expect BEVs to make up 19% of global light-duty vehicle sales, up from 1% today. We expect the traditional ICE as we know it to decline from 96% today to 28%.

Currently, petrol vehicles predominantly use palladium in the converter, instead of platinum. Palladium is in material deficit and now trades at a $180/oz premium to platinum, where it historically traded at large discounts. We have gathered that platinum is a superior metal for catalysis and that a growing price differential will swing the original equipment manufacturers back towards platinum in future.

Many look at the platinum surplus and declare the metal is doomed. Our view is, given their fungibility, platinum and palladium must be considered together. Looked at this way, the market is in a growing deficit. Out of the 3E metals, platinum is most important for SA producers as it is makes up 60% of the ounces extracted.

Large reductions

We see 3E demand increasing 11% by 2030, where market rhetoric seems set on declining demand. Beyond 2030, we see large reductions in SA supply as many mines come to the end of their economic lives.

Coupling our supply and demand expectations gives us an average market deficit of 500,000oz, or 2.6% of annual demand each year, over the next 12 years. These deficits are substantially more pronounced in the near term and we expect prices to react strongly over this timeframe. We have excluded potential investment demand from these balances, which may prove conservative.

Negativity towards the industry also stems from the deep-level, high-cost nature of the majority of the SA mines. We have mitigated this through the selection of the highest-quality players in the sector, Northam and Amplats.

Northam is a medium-size producer with two producing mines, run by an entrepreneurial management team that has taken advantage of the downturn in the industry by making smart acquisitions.

Production growth from its Booysendal mine over the next five years will help the group double production. Booysendal is the key asset in Northam’s portfolio, and while it is underground, it is shallow, capital-light and mechanised — meaning a smaller labour component. Northam is well-positioned to generate cash flows and at these metal prices should trade on a nine times price-earnings (9xPE) ratio in the 2019 year.

Amplats is the largest producer of PGMs and has undergone a remarkable portfolio transition in the last five years. Shedding itself of high-cost, deep underground mines and focusing on the key Mogalakwena asset has allowed Amplats to pay the first dividend in the sector since 2013.

Mogalakwena is a unique asset as it is an open pit, which means it comes with less operational complexity and standout margins. It has material expansion capability over the next decade and we believe management will pursue this. Amplats has several options to expand the size of the portfolio over the next decade with high-quality, low-labour ounces. At today’s spot prices, Amplats trades on an 11xPE for the 2019 year.

The sentiment surrounding PGMs has left the sector’s equity prices lagging recent improvements in the basket price. Thanks to their high-quality operations, both Northam and Amplats can generate material cash flows in today’s price environment and we believe equities are yet to reflect this.

The Genesis project is a Ni-Cu-PGM property located in the northeastern Chugach Mountains, 75 road miles north of the city of Valdez, Alaska. The project is within 3 km of the all-season paved Richardson Highway and a high capacity electric power line. The project is covered by 4,144 hectares (10,240 acres) of State of Alaska mining claims owned 100% by New Age Metals. Past exploration has revealed the presence of chromite-associated platinum and palladium mineralization and stratabound Ni-Cu-PGM mineralization within steeply dipping magmatic layers of the Sheep Hill portion of the Tonsina Ultramafic Complex. The mineralized horizon has been identified in outcrop sampling for 850 m along strike and a 40 m true thickness.

PGM values at Genesis are strongly correlated with the chromite rich portions of the mineralized horizon, while Ni and Cu are strongly correlated with sulfide rich portions of the mineralized horizon. Metal grades are regular over multiple meter intervals, including 6 meters grading 804 ppb platinum and 1,018 ppb palladium, and 12 meters grading 5,938 ppm nickel. There has been no drilling on this district-scale project and the strike and depth extent of Ni-Cu-PGM mineralization remains untested. Additionally, two areas of banded chromite hosted in dunite and harzburgite on the Bernard Mountain portion of the Tonsina Ultramafic Complex host multiple ppm PGM and a sample of chromite hosted in the olivine websterite unit contains the high values for both Platinum (Pt) and Palladium (Pd) for a combined 5,340 ppb PGM. Outcrop sampling has returned values of 16-9,660 ppm Ni, 0.5-5,800 ppm Cu, 0-2,800 ppb Pt, 0-2,540 ppb Pd. Limited geochemical sampling and geologic mapping has been conducted over these two mafic-ultramafic massifs.

The identification of two different styles of PGM mineralization at Sheep Hill suggests that multiple mineralizing events have occurred. The parental magma for the Tonsina Ultramafic Complex contained highly anomalous concentrations of PGM and Ni. More exploration is required to define if a reef event has formed the stratabound magmatic sulfide mineralization and if the geochemical patterns caused by reef formation hosts economically significant Ni-Cu-PGM mineralization in the Tonsina Ultramafic Complex.

The different Cr/Fe ratios for chromite ores studied by the USBM during the 1980’s (Foley et al, 1985, Foley and others, 1987) fits with observations from layered intrusions with multiple chromite horizons (Maier and Barnes, 2005) where the Cr/Fe ratio decreases in successive chromite layer formation. The decrease in Cr/Fe ratios between Bernard Mountain, thought to be a basal sequence, and Sheep Hill, interpreted to be a stratigraphically higher portion of the intrusive complex (Foley and others, 1987), could indicate that multiple chromite formation events have occurred in the ultramafic magma chamber, and that other PGM-enriched horizons remain undiscovered. PGM profiles of Genesis project outcrop samples show a Ruthenium trough, which is postulated to have formed during partial melting of the mantle in a subduction environment, and are more similar to PGM profiles from Ni-Cu-PGM ores from layered intrusions such as Stillwater, the Great Dyke, and Penikat, than PGM profiles from ophiolite associated ores.

Merits of the Genesis PGM Project

The Genesis PGM Project is an under explored, highly prospective multi-prospect drill ready Pd-Pt-Ni-Cu property that warrants follow-up drilling, additional surface mapping, sampling to expand the known footprint of mineralization and to determine the ultimate size and grade of the layered mineralization outlined to date. The stable land status, ease of access and superb infrastructure make this project prospective for year-around exploration, development and production.

Significant aspects of the Genesis PGM Project include:

  • – Drill ready PGM-Ni-Cu reef style target with 2.4 grams/ton Palladium (Pd), 2.4 grams/ton Platinum (Pt), 0.96% Nickel (Ni), and 0.58% Copper (Cu).
  • – Reef mineralization is open to the west, east, north, and at depth.
  • – Mineralized reef identified in outcrop for 850 m along strike and a 40 m true thickness.
  • – Separate style of chromite mineralization contains Platinum Group Metals (PGM) up to 2.5 g/t Pd and 2.8 g/t Pt.
  • – Known PGM mineralization covers a distance of 9 km across the prospect.
  • – No historic drilling has been done on the project.
  • – Project is within 3 km of a paved highway and electric transmission line.

Future Recommended Work on the Genesis Project by Avalon Development’s August 2018 Report

Year 1: Initial efforts at Genesis should focus on detailed geologic mapping (1:1,000 or better), grid-based lithogeochemical sampling, 2D and 3D reinterpretation of previously completed airborne and ground geophysical surveys, and acquisition, interpretation and ground-truthing of hyperspectral imagery over the Tonsina Ultramafic complex and vicinity. This effort will require some pre-season desk-top work (geophysical reinterpretation and hyperspectral analysis) followed by field work centered on 6 to 8 person tent camps that are emplaced by helicopter but which do not have daily helicopter support. The focus of field efforts will be detailed geologic mapping and lithogeochemical sampling designed to locate and define both bedded and chromite-related Cu-Ni-PGM mineralization to a degree sufficient to target drilling in year 2. All analytical work will include Pt+Pd+Au by fire assay and multi-element IPC-AES analysis with 4-acid digestion. Total estimated cost of this program is approximately $500,000.

Year 2: Exploration recommended for year 2 will be focused on initial scout drilling of one or more targets as refined by year one efforts. Approximately 2,500m of drilling is included in this program. Hole coordinates, inclinations and azimuths will be refined using results from year 1 field efforts. Drilling will be helicopter supported using an LF70 or CS1000 or equivalent drilling rig supplied with water derived from local streams or ponds. Drill support will be from a contract tent camp capable of supporting 10-12 persons. All drill core will be logged, photographed, and sawed with one-half of the core remaining in archive, the other half being shipped for geochemical analysis. All analytical work will include Pt+Pd+Au by fire assay and multi-element IPC-AES analysis with 4-acid digestion. Total estimated cost of this program is approximately $1,000,000.

Year 3: Exploration recommended for year 3 will be focused on definition drilling of the most promising target drilled in year 2. The goal of year 3 efforts will be to advance at least one target to the inferred resource stage. Approximately 5,000 metres of drilling is included in this program. Hole coordinates, inclinations and azimuths will be refined using results from year 2 drilling efforts. Drilling will be helicopter supported using an LF70 or CS1000 or equivalent drilling rig supplied with water derived from local streams or ponds. Drill support will be from a contract tent camp capable of supporting 10-12 persons. All drill core will be logged, photographed, and sawed with one-half of the core remaining in archive, the other half being shipped for geochemical analysis. All analytical work will include Pt+Pd+Au by fire assay and multi-element IPC-AES analysis with 4-acid digestion. Total estimated cost of this program is approximately $1,500,000. NAM’s management are actively seeking an Option/Joint-Venture partner for Genesis.

ABOUT NAM’S LITHIUM DIVISION

The summer exploration plan has begun for the company’s Lithium Division (June 14th, 2018). NAM has 100% ownership of eight pegmatite hosted Lithium Projects in the Winnipeg River Pegmatite Field, located in SE Manitoba, with focus on Lithium-bearing pegmatites. Three of the projects are drill ready. This Pegmatite Field hosts the world class Tanco Pegmatite that has been mined for Tantalum, Cesium and Spodumene (one of the primary Lithium minerals) in varying capacities, since 1969. ABOUT NAM’S PGM DIVISION

NAM’s flagship project is its 100% owned River Valley PGM Project (NAM Website – River Valley Project) in the Sudbury Mining District of Northern Ontario (100 km east of Sudbury, Ontario). Presently the River Valley Project is North America’s largest undeveloped primary PGM deposit with Measured + Indicated Mineral Resources of 160 million tonnes @ 0.44 g/t Palladium, 0.17 g/t Platinum, 0.03 g/t Gold, with a PdEq metal grade of 0.90 g/t at a cut-off grade of 0.4 g/t PdEq equating to 3,297,000 ounces PGM plus Gold and 4,626,000 PdEq Ounces (Table 1). This equates to 4,626,000 PdEq ounces M+I and 2,714,000 PdEq ounces in Inferred classification (see May 8th, 2018 press release). NAM is currently conducting Phase 4 of their proposed 2018 exploration and development program. The current program is based on recommendations of previous geophysical studies and reviews by the company’s consultants, recent drilling, ongoing advanced metallurgical and minerology studies and selective pit design drill programs. The results of Phase 4 will assist in early PEA work being conducted by P&E Mining Consultants Inc and DRA Americas Inc and is meant to contribute towards the River Valley PEA. Mr. Michael Neumann, P.Eng., a veteran mining engineer and one of NAM’s directors, will oversee the completion of the PEA.

On April 4th, 2018, NAM signed an agreement with one of Alaska’s top geological consulting companies. The companies stated objective is to acquire additional PGM and Rare Metal projects in Alaska. On April 18th, 2018, NAM announced the right to purchase 100% of the Genesis PGM Project, NAM’s first Alaskan PGM acquisition related to the April 4th agreement. The Genesis PGM Project is a road accessible, under explored, highly prospective, multi-prospect drill ready Palladium (Pd)- Platinum (Pt)- Nickel (Ni)- Copper (Cu) property. A comprehensive report on previous exploration and future phases of work was completed in August 2018 on Genesis. This report was completed by Avalon Development of Fairbanks Alaska.

On August 29 the Avalon report was submitted to NAM, management is actively seeking an option/joint-venture partner for this road accessible PGM and Multiple Element Project using the Prospector Generator business model. The company’s Lithium division, Lithium Canada Developments, has an aggressive exploration and development plan for 2018. NAMs Manitoba projects are financed via an Option/Joint Venture agreement with Azincourt Energy, see Figure 1, page 2.

Lithium Two Exploration Update

Exploration on the project consisted of reviewing, characterising and sampling all the known surface pegmatites. Fractionation samples of feldspars and micas were also collected and this will give the company an indication as to the degree of fractionation of the pegmatite with the more fractionated pegmatites being the bodies that are more conducive to containing Lithium minerals and Rare Metal minerals.

Lithium Two Project has several known Spodumene bearing pegmatites. The Eagle Pegmatite was drilled in 1947 with a historic (non 43-101 compliant) tonnage estimate of 544,460 tonnes with a grade of 1.4% Li2O to the 61 meter level. The deposit remains open to depth. The FD5 Pegmatite, located east of the Eagle Pegmatite has never been drilled.

Assays results from channel samples on the Eagle Pegmatite returned Lithium assays from 0.5 to 2.9% Li2O. (See Table 1). Assays from Lithium two’s FD5 Pegmatite returned assays from 0.9 to 3.3% Li2O (See Table 2). (For a reference on FD5’s location in regards to the Eagle Pegmatite please see Figure 2 below).

In an effort to check the purity of the Spodumene, a sample of Spodumene blades was sampled from the FD5 Pegmatite. This sample yielded an assay of 7.62% Li2 O. A review of Spodumene Mineral Data (http://webmineral.com/data/Spodumene) indicates that Spodumene can have a Li2O content from 3.73 to 8.03% Li2O. This would tend to indicate that the Spodumene present in the pegmatites dykes on the project is of a high purity.

The company also entered into an agreement (News Release- July 11th, 2018) with Grid Metals (formerly Mustang Minerals) for the rights to explore for Lithium and Rare Metals on the claim directly adjacent to the west of the Lithium Two Project as to further examine the strike projection of the Eagle Pegmatite. Phase Two of surface exploration north of Cat Lake will examine this claim, the westward projection of the eagle Pegmatite at surface as well as prospect the recently staked Cat Lake Project claims (News Release – June 6th, 2018).

Compilation of historic assessment reports revealed a Spodumene bearing pegmatite drilled in the late 1940’s approximately 500 meters southeast of the Eagle Pegmatite surface exposure but not exposed on surface. No grades were provided at the time. This pegmatite will be drill tested during the upcoming drill program. The company applied for a drill work permit in the spring of 2018 and is presently waiting for approval from the province.

Even though Lithium is the main focus of the exploration it should be noted that the pegmatites also show elevated Tantalum values that may be of an economic interest. Pegmatites elsewhere on the project did not reveal significant Lithium mineralization; however, several were elevated in Tantalum. Fractionation work is currently be undertaken by the company’s geological consultants. Results will be reported at a later date.

QA/QC Protocol

All samples were analyzed at the Activation Laboratories facility, in Ancaster, Ontario. Samples were prepared, using the lab’s Code RX1 procedure. Samples are crushed, up to 95% passing through a 10 mesh, riffle split, and then pulverized, with mild steel, to 95%, passing 105 ?m. Analyses were completed, using the lab’s Ultratrace 7 Package; a Sodium Peroxide Fusion which allows for total metal recovery and is effective for analysis of Sulphides and refractory minerals. Assay analyses are carried out, using ICP-OES and ICP-MS instrumentation. New Age Metals implemented a QA/QC field program with insertion of blanks at regular intervals. Activation Laboratories has their own internal QA/QC procedures that it carries out for all sample batches.

Lithman North Project Update

The exploration crew has completed surface exploration on the Lithman North Project with 30 samples collected and sent to the assay lab. The Company is awaiting results. Results will be combined with 2016 field work for a final report on the project.

Lithman East Project Update

Presently the field crew is completing exploration on the Lithman East Project where numerous surface pegmatites have been examined and sampled (see Figure 3). As well limited field work has been undertaken on the Lithman East Extension Project.

2018 Lithman East-Lithman East Extension site visits observed 114 Individual pegmatite units within 4 regional pegmatite field areas. All pegmatites observed have varying degrees of evolved mineralogy with all observed sites containing potassic feldspar to albite feldspar mineralogy. One trenched site contains Beryl mineral crystallization in an albite pegmatite.

A total of 193 samples have been sent for analysis from Lithman East Project. A total of 17 samples have been sent for analysis from Lithman East Extension sites. Assay analyses returns are pending.

(News Release: January 15th, 2018) This Pegmatite Field hosts the world class Tanco Pegmatite that has been mined for Tantalum, Cesium and Spodumene (one of the primary Lithium ore minerals) in varying capacities, since 1969. NAM’s Lithium Projects are strategically situated in this prolific Pegmatite Field. Presently, NAM, under its subsidiary Lithium Canada Developments, is one of the largest mineral claim holders in the Winnipeg River Pegmatite Field for Lithium. Azincourt Energy Corp. as our option/joint venture is financed for and has committed to a minimum of $600,000 to be expended on exploration in Manitoba for 2018.

The Genesis PGM Project is a road accessible, under explored, highly prospective, multi-prospect drill ready Palladium (Pd)- Platinum (Pt)- Nickel (Ni)- Copper (Cu) property. A comprehensive report on previous exploration and future phases of work is slated for completion by early August 2018 on Genesis. This report will be completed by Avalon Development of Fairbanks Alaska.

After the Avalon report has been submitted to NAM, management will then actively seek an option/joint-venture partner for this road accessible PGM and Multiple Element Project using the Prospector Generator business model.

The results of the updated Mineral Resource Estimate for NAM’s flagship River Valley PGM Project are tabulated in Table 1 below (0.4 g/t PdEq cut-off).
