Neah Power Ships to Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO)

BOTHELL, Wash., May 7, 2014 — Neah Power Systems, Inc., (OTCBB:NPWZ), a provider of proprietary power solutions, announced that the shipment to DRDO of the Government of India started on May 1 2014 related to the purchase order previously announced. As previously reported, this is a milestone event for the Company, and could lead to a licensing agreement for the PowerChipÂ® technology.

Neah Power CEO, Chris D’Couto said, “The PowerChip product is geared towards aggressive operational environments, including anaerobic environments, and we are pleased to report this shipment to such a reputed sovereign entity.”

Based on logistics (freight times, security clearances and travel arrangements), the onsite testing supported by Neah Power Systems is expected to occur in 8 â€“ 12 weeks.

Neah Power Begins Taking Pre-Orders for BuzzBar(TM) Product Suite Including: BuzzCell(TM), BuzzSol(TM) and BuzzBat(TM) Products

BOTHELL, Wash., April 17, 2014 — Neah Power Systems, Inc., (OTCBB:NPWZ), a provider of proprietary, award-winning, patented power solutions announced that consumers can now pre-order the BuzzBar Suite of products including: the liquid-fueled BuzzCell, the sun-powered BuzzSol, and AA battery-powered BuzzBat at www.neahpower.com.

“We are very excited to bring this suite of products to market,” said Neah Power CEO, Chris D’Couto. “Our recent asset acquisition, ongoing improvements and consumer feedback has enabled these revolutionary product offerings.”

Unlike anything else that is on the market today, the BuzzBar charging suite, allows consumers to keep mobile devices like smart phones and tablets charged using a variety of power sources, and are never confined to a single source. Consumers can choose from the Neah-exclusive liquid fuel cells (BuzzCell), solar (BuzzSol), or easily available AA (BuzzBat) batteries.

The largest cell phone markets in the world are in Africa and India, where significant number of business and monetary transactions are done using cell phones. Unfortunately, they also have the most unstable power grids. Neah’s off-the-grid recharging solutions would play a critical role in these markets, and be welcomed assets for traveling professionals, outdoor enthusiasts, and people trapped in disaster areas.

Neah Power Pleased With Consumer Demand for Generation One BuzzBar(TM) Technology, Production Underway and Expected to Ship Early

BOTHELL, Wash., Feb 18, 2014 — Neah Power Systems, Inc., (OTCBB:NPWZ) a provider of proprietary power solutions, announced that sales for the first generation (Gen One) of the BuzzBar has closed out with the orders received to date, and that the second generation is already under development.

“We were very pleased with the demand by the consumer market for the first generation of BuzzBar technology,” said CEO, Chris D’Couto. “We have closed out final sales of the Gen One, and received excellent feedback from the initial prototypes and helpful comments online. We have already implemented some compelling design changes into the first generation BuzzBar, including making the unit more compact thus increasing energy density.”

Gen One of the BuzzBar was available in limited supply exclusively via the new Neah Power website. It is expected that the second generation may be available both on the website and in select consumer outlets. Gen One BuzzBars are in production and expected to ship 4 weeks earlier than previously stated on the website, with the first units arriving in April. Gen Two BuzzBars will follow closely behind, along with the BuzzBat, BuzzSol, and additional BuzzCell accessories.
