Cautionary statement: Readers are cautioned that grab samples are selective by nature and are not necessarily representative of mineralization hosted on the property.

All samples were grab samples and were analyzed by Bureau Veritas, Vancouver, British Columbia. The analytical methods used correspond to Bureau Veritas code LF700 – Whole Rock Analysis by XRF.

An additional 26 outcrop samples were taken during a recent follow-up survey as announced on December 06, 2016 and are still pending assay at Bureau Veritas in Vancouver, BC. Assay results will be announced when they become available.

Marcy Kiesman, CEO of Durango stated, “We are extremely pleased with the assays received for the Mayner’s Fortune project. Favourable grades of up to >99.99% limestone from Limestone Unit #5 (by calculation), has created additional opportunities for potential end users. Despite snow and winter conditions, our geological crew successfully mapped limestone in the northern section of Unit #5 to an extent of 650m along strike by 140m apparent thickness with the unit remaining open at both ends. This compares well with historical mapping of 1,600m strike length and an apparent thickness of 180m in the south end of the limestone bed. These assay and mapping results have affirmed the vast potential of this property and Durango plans to continue to advance its limestone prospects through 2017.”

The technical contents of this release were approved by Mr. Case Lewis, P.Geo., a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. The property has not yet been the subject of a National Instrument 43-101 report.

  • Created logo and branding materials for packaging its limestone located on the northwest coast of British Columbia for agricultural use
  • Label “ever bloom” represents greater crop yield due to the fertility of the plants by using agricultural limestone as a soil conditioner

Vancouver, BC / November 15, 2016 – Durango Resources Inc. (TSX.V-DGO), (the “Company” or “Durango”) reports that further to its news release of November 10, 2016, it is has created logo and branding materials for packaging its limestone located on the northwest coast of British Columbia for agricultural use.

The label “ever bloom” represents greater crop yield due to the fertility of the plants by using agricultural limestone as a soil conditioner. The limestone activates when in contact with water and then dissolves into the soil, lowering the acidity and raising the pH which is essential for crop yields. This process can significantly boost profit potential of farms and can increase the fertilizer efficiency up to 50% which is desirable for greater crop yields. The lime also adds desirable nutrients to the soils such as calcium, magnesium and phosphorus which improves soil structure, increases rates of air and water infiltration, improves plant cell wall formation and can help to regulate the nutrient uptake through the roots of the plant producing the “ever bloom”.

Marcy Kiesman, CEO comments, “Durango is speaking with different groups who may benefit from using the BC limestone for agricultural use and for additional green-tech solutions. While Durango awaits the large-scale LNG markets to open up in northern BC, the Company is focused to initiate smaller niche market sales.”

Durango Targets Agricultural & Marijuana Markets $DGO.ca

Posted by AGORACOM-JC at 10:33 AM on Thursday, November 10th, 2016

  • looking at potential agricultural uses for its limestone located on the northwest coast of British Columbia
  • Synergy of agricultural limestone and its use as a soil conditioner
  • Limestone is extremely beneficial for the agricultural industry including the commercial growth marijuana industry

Vancouver, BC / November 10, 2016 – Durango Resources Inc. (TSX.V-DGO), (the “Company” or “Durango”) reports that further to its news release of November 1, 2016, it is looking at potential agricultural uses for its limestone located on the northwest coast of British Columbia.

The Mayner’s Fortune property is located approximately 7.5km southwest of Terrace, B.C. and recent logging in the area has benefitted Durango by providing road access to the project. The construction of the logging roads exposed additional limestone at surface over a large area which was not previously mapped in historical reports. The new limestone outcrops were sampled and sent for assay as announced previously on November 1, 2016.

When recently speaking with an individual in the agricultural industry, the synergy of agricultural limestone and its use as a soil conditioner was discussed. The limestone is activated when it meets with water and dissolves into the soil which lowers the acidity and raises the pH which is essential for crop yields. The lime also adds desirable nutrients to the soils such as calcium, magnesium and phosphorus which improves soil structure, increases rates of air and water infiltration, improves plant cell wall formation and can help to regulate the nutrient uptake through the roots of the plant. Hydroponic systems are more prone to incur a calcium deficiency and require the use of limestone.

Limestone is extremely beneficial for the agricultural industry including the commercial growth marijuana industry. As such, the Company is actively investigating marketing its limestone to these mediums. Commercial marijuana operations are now North America wide, as several states in the USA voted for recreational and medicinal marijuana legislation. (https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/nov/08/state-ballot-initiative-election-results-live-marijuana-death-penalty-healthcare)

Marcy Kiesman, CEO comments: “Durango’s management team is pleased with its decision to diversify its holdings by acquiring alternative green projects which are versatile enough to be used for construction, agricultural use and for additional green-tech solutions. The beneficial chemical properties of agricultural lime can significantly boost the profit potential of farms and can increase fertilizer efficiency up to fifty per cent which is important for crop yield and profitability.”

  • Acquired a 100% interest in 3 claim blocks adjacent to, and near, Equitas Resources Corporations’ (TSX.V-EQT) Labrador Ni/Cu project
  • One claim block is located adjacent to, and to the northwest of, anomaly D of the Equitas Garland property which is located approximately 30km southeast of Vale’s Voisey’s Bay mine

Vancouver, BC / October 5, 2015 – Durango Resources Inc. (the “Company” or “Durango”) is pleased to announce it has acquired a 100% interest in 3 claim blocks adjacent to, and near, Equitas Resources Corporations’ (TSX.V-EQT) Labrador Ni/Cu project.

One claim block is located adjacent to, and to the northwest of, anomaly D of the Equitas Garland property which is located approximately 30km southeast of Vale’s Voisey’s Bay mine. On September 23, 2015 Equitas Resources Corp. announced via www.sedar.com, “Springdale Forest Products has commenced drilling with borehole GP15-001. This NQ borehole is designed to test VTEM Anomaly D, part of a two-kilometre trend of variable conductivity, coincident with a nickel-copper-cobalt lake sediment anomaly and resident in an east-west structure of the Gardar-Voisey’s Bay fault set.”

Two other claim blocks, described below, are approximately 90km to the north of Voisey’s Bay, and have historic work results reported.

E ZONE

One claim block covers the “E” Zone, where National Mineral Inventory Number (NMIN): 14E/01/Ni 002, Record ID Number: 4499, reports wide, deep, intersections of “disseminated to massive sulphide layering” including: drill intersections of 12.9 m of 0.24% Ni, 0.20% Cu, and 0.06% Co, and 54 m of 0.4% Ni, 0.43% Cu and 0.11% Co. It is not stated in the report if the second intersection is continuous like the first one (Canadian States Resources, PR, August 21, 1996). “Generally, the grades are higher than those from the adjacent Cirque (NMI File No. 14E/01/Ni003), although such comparisons may be complicated by differences in averaging techniques (Kerr and Smith, 1997).”

KRINOR

Another claim block covers the occurrence known as “Krinor”, NMIN: 14E/01/Ni 008 Record ID Number: 4511, “The best assay (probably a grab sample) from the property was 1.31% Ni, 0.52% Cu and 0.21% Co (Castle Rock Exploration, PR, October 4, 1995). Geophysical surveys were conducted during the summer of 1996, and diamond drilling commenced in mid-August 1996. According to the NMIN file no information was released at that time concerning drilling results, but three holes intersected sulphide mineralization, over widths up to 14 m. (J. O’Sullivan, personal communication, 1997) (Kerr and Smith, 1997).”

Further due diligence evaluation of historic data, derived mainly from the Voisey’s Bay discovery and subsequent staking rush and exploration follow up by the many companies involved, will be carried out over the next few months.

In consideration for 100% interest in the properties, with no net smelter royalty, the Company will issue one million shares to an arm’s length vendor, subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval. The shares will be subject to a hold period of four months plus one day from the date of issuance.

The technical and scientific data in this news release was approved by Mr. Peter Dimmell, P.Geo. (NL, ON, SK, QC(SP), a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101.

Recent Highlights

  • Acquired two limestone properties in north western British Columbia which have been strategically chosen in an effort to coincide with the LNG projects near Kitimat and Prince Rupert.
  • Both the Mayner’s Fortune property and the Smith Island property have historical occurrences of limestone which will fast track the exploration to production timeline since they are near term producing properties.
  • Mayner’s Fortune property is located 50km away via CN Rail line from the Kitimat Shell Consortium LNG proposed site and hosts a series of 6 north east striking limestone beds which have been reported to be grades as high as 96%.
  • Historical workings have indicated a preliminary 454,000 tonnes of limestone in the first limestone bed nearest to the rail road. The Company has been contacted by CN Rail and they look forward to working with Durango to help move the project forward.
