Patient Electronic Health Record (EHR) data can ensure a more accurate diagnosis and treatment. A collective of large amounts of EHR will allow the discovery of certain types of disease patterns for both treatment and prevention. It is the first time that I see a project that connects both engagement and data capture. I believe that KinectHub is definitely in the right direction and will bring a positive solution to third world countries (…)”.

Jean-Philippe Beaudet, Director & CTO of ZeU commented: “(…) KinectHub is bringing an innovative solution to an endemic problem of healthcare access in third world countries. I believe that pairing data monetization with a humanitarian goal is not only a brilliant idea but a necessity for billions of people around the globe. The technological choices made will ensure that this can be done in an ethical and private way. It is rare that we can see a data driven project with a billion-dollar potential aimed at simply helping real people with something as crucial as health (…)”.

  • Pursuant to which ZeU acquired the key IP of a VN3T’s decentralized data market place platform and secured development services.

Montreal / February 4, 2019 St-Georges Eco-Mining Corp. (CSE: SX) (OTC: SXOOF) (FSE: 85G1) is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, ZeU Crypto Networks Inc., has executed today an asset purchase agreement with VN3T Technologies Inc. and its subsidiaries, collectively “VN3T“, an arm’s length party, pursuant to which ZeU acquired the key IP of a VN3T’s decentralized data market place platform and secured development services.

VN3T, based in Montreal and Gibraltar, develops, manages, and markets a decentralized data marketplace which allows companies, institutions, and private individuals to buy and sell datasets within a decentralized, encrypted, anonymized, and GDPR-compliant network.

The majority of VN3T data comes from the previous untapped 97% of potentially useful information or “Dark Data.” When entities allow VN3T solutions to crawl their datasets, a matching algorithm identifies any data available that these entities may have which is required by a buyer within the network and attaches a cash value to it.

The IP and the expertise acquired will expedite the development of certain functionalities of ZeU’s blockchain marketplace platform for derivatives developed for Borealis EHF and will allow the integration of the new business segment of data trading in relation with this initiative and other opportunities. It will also generate exclusive tradeable content for Borealis.

The purchase price to be paid by the Purchaser to VN3T for the IP is $150,000, which will be satisfied by the issuance of a debenture of ZeU maturing 2 years from its issuance (the “Maturity Date“), and convertible into common shares (each a “Share“) of ZeU at a price equal to the 5-day VWAP of the Shares on the Canadian Stock Exchange, subject to a minimum of $1.85 (the “Debentures“). In addition, ZeU agreed to retain the services of the VN3T for a gross amount of $60,000 to assist with the development of certain aspects of the IP.

Under the Agreement, VN3T also granted ZeU an exclusive option (the “Option“) to acquire, on or before May 31, 2019, the additional assets for a purchase price of $25,000, which would be satisfied by the issuance to VN3T of a $25,000 Debenture under the same terms and conditions.

Nomination of a Chief Technology Officer

In parallel with this acquisition, ZeU is pleased to welcome Mr. Jean-Philippe Beaudet as a board member of ZeU Crypto Networks Inc. Mr. Beaudet will also take on the position of Chief Technology Officer and, alongside our Chief Architect and our CEO, will help identify blockchain development and deployment opportunities that can be quickly monetized.

Experienced Gaming developer, Jean-Philippe Beaudet launched his career at UbiSoft. He worked and researched natural language processing for Luminary, a private American research lab. Mr. Beaudet cultivated an interest in machine learning and decentralized technology which led him to co-found S3R3NITY Technologies, a technology incubator from which he launched numerous start-ups. Mr. Beaudet was an early enthusiast of blockchain technology and contributed to major projects such as a Bitcoin brokerage platform and a marketing data analytics tool for financial institutions. Seeing the opportunity to marry blockchain technology with artificial intelligence to meet the needs for a decentralized data market he founded VN3T. Jean-Philippe is an advisor on multiple blockchain initiatives and a regular conference speaker. He is also the CEO and CTO of VSekur.

“(…) Jean-Philippe is a natural fit for Chief Technology Officer of ZeU due to his breadth of experience in software management, operations management, human resources management, as well as design and implementation of technological pipelines. He is the perfect addition to many ongoing projects that we are currently working on and will allow us to solidify and accelerate many initiative that are in our pipeline (…) commented ZeU’s President & CEO, Frank Dumas.

St-Georges Eco-Mining Corp. $SX.ca Update on #Lithium Extraction Technology Provisional Patent

Posted by AGORACOM-JC at 11:52 AM on Wednesday, January 30th, 2019

Update on Lithium Extraction Technology Provisional Patent

  • In the Company last press release, the text regarding the provisional patent filed under the name ‘Method of Mineral Recovery’ was incomplete as it omitted important elements of the innovation claim contained in St-Georges provisional filing.
  • The portion of the text related to lithium extraction technology refers solely to the prior art on which the St-Georges innovation and new patent evolves from.
  • It covers a portion of stage 1, the concentration phase, and is being improved upon.

Montreal, Quebec / January 30, 2019 St-Georges Eco-Mining Corp. (CSE: SX) (OTC: SXOOF) (FSE: 85G1) would like to provide important information in regards to the provisional patent filing mention in its January 20, 2019 press release and pertaining to its lithium extraction technology initiatives.

In the Company last press release, the text regarding the provisional patent filed under the name ‘Method of Mineral Recovery’ was incomplete as it omitted important elements of the innovation claim contained in St-Georges provisional filing.

The portion of the text related to lithium extraction technology refers solely to the prior art on which the St-Georges innovation and new patent evolves from. It covers a portion of stage 1, the concentration phase, and is being improved upon.

This prior art comes from United States Patent 4098687, Published 07/04/1978 and titled ‘Beneficiation of lithium ores by froth flotation’. This patent is now in the public domain.

(…), the lithium values fraction of lithium-containing ores is floated from gangue slimes, preferably without the use of a desliming step, by a froth flotation process wherein an aqueous pulp of the ore is treated with a conditioning reagent which improves the selectivity of anionic collectors to spodumene and other lithium values. … The conditioning reagent is added to and thoroughly mixed with the ore pulp before the pulp is subjected to conventional froth flotation in the presence of an anionic collector as the flotation agent (…)” (Extracts of the historical patent)

Although there are important differences in our approach, mainly by initially reducing the amount of material to be froth floated by 55% by adding a prior concentration step using a method of air classification and the fact that we are using this similar approach to treat clays and fines, it is important to point out that the concentration is not our innovation core claim.

The Provisional Patent Innovation Claim

The keys to the invention are using water saturated with silicate salts or other similar substitutes with reagents that make the lithium be attracted to air for successful flotation. Clay materials that are superfine generally do not concentrate well in water. The combination of nitric acid leach with a controlled dosage of citric acid with saturated salt solution for froth flotation has not been done together previously.

St-Georges has been working on low-grade ores in super fines form. These resources are often as difficult to leach as traditional hard rock resources. In the development, the R&D is being carried on two fronts: concentrating with improvements on prior art and leaching with our research team to avoid high-temperature and high-pressure vessels and eliminating the need to roast or calcine the material in order to reduce costs.

The provisional patent filed cover prior art to concentrate low-grade lithium resources with St-Georges technology to leach without pressure or high-temperature and avoid leaching materials that traditionally leach easily with H2SO4 and HCl that enter the circuit as impurities. This selective leaching process allows the reduction of waste materials and neutralization efforts.

Our team has been testing our selective leaching on a number of traditional hard rock crystalline forms of lithium and has successfully leached spodumene and leopodolite without the use of high-temperature and pressure and not requiring roasting and calcining.

The company already reported results of successful selective leaching that has helped to reduce the total weight leached to approximately 12% of the total initial weight. In the second stage of the process, prior art to concentrate lithium in slims and clays is being applied with the selective leaching. St-Georges expects to combine prior art with the innovation in leaching currently being further improved to unlock the lithium content of various conventional and alternative lithium-bearing material.

More material from various origins will be tested in the coming months. So far the selective leach is working on all lithium resources tested.

Timely release of information

St-Georges management has the difficult task to protect the knowledge acquired by its on-going R&D initiatives prior to the grant of formal patents while it also has the obligation to inform its shareholders on the progress of these initiatives while protecting their collective investment in the intellectual property to be generated.

The nature of provisional patent filing allows for amendments as further testing and fine tuning is done and generates positive results while keeping the information protected from third parties. St-Georges’ metallurgists are planning to further amend the provisional filings when significant improvement on the core innovation becomes material. The challenge to maintain the right balance between a maximum disclosure of information and the protection of the intellectual property generated is bound to create a situation where an internal censorship process get in the way of efficient information.

St-Georges $SX.ca Lithium Extraction Technology Update

Posted by AGORACOM-JC at 6:02 PM on Wednesday, January 16th, 2019
  • successfully improved its lithium-in-clay extraction technology, as well as an important breakthrough regarding the processing of hard rock material

Montreal / January 16, 2019 St-Georges Eco-Mining Corp. (CSE: SX) (OTC: SXOOF) (FSE: 85G1) is pleased to report that it successfully improved its lithium-in-clay extraction technology, as well as an important breakthrough regarding the processing of hard rock material.

The Company previously reported back in December (See Press Release Dated December 20, 2018) that it had achieved the removal, by mechanical means, of 55% of the material processed from the Bonnie Claire lithium deposit fully owned by its partner Iconic Minerals ltd (TSX-V: ICM). At that point, 90% of the lithium contained in the initial material was later found in solution to be processed for recovery.

Additional tests have now improved the outlook on the recovery grade. Stage 2 selective leach processing has eliminated 70% of the material contained in the pregnant portion of the initial material. The company is now pleased to report that it found 100% of the initial lithium in solution post-leaching. The subsequent solution now represent between 12 to 15% of the initial material.

These simple steps eliminate the need for expensive processing of 85 to 87% of the initial material while retaining 100% of the lithium contained in the material from the deposit. This increase the lithium grade of the material to be further processed by 6 to 8 times.

From the 100% initial material, 55% is discarded mechanically, low cost lixiviation sets aside between 68 to 73% of the remaining material leaving approximately only 12 to 15% to be processed further.

The company is currently working on improving the leaching selectivity within its phase 2 development efforts. Phase 3 testing will focus on purifying the lithium to reach lithium hydroxide commercial quality.

Extraction of lithium from hard rocks.

The company has successfully tested its leaching approach with spodumene and other clay formations of lithium without pressure, calcining and high temperatures. This development can be applied to any hard feed which includes tailings, clay and hard rocks. St-Georges metallurgists are planning to initiate tests in the coming days with lepidolite lithium material available from St-Georges’ LeRoyal Project.

Other Corporate Matters

BigData on Blockchain

In early December, ZeU filed for an additional provisional patent named ‘System and Method for Augmenting Database Applications with Blockchain Technology’.

The application developed by ZeU and related to this invention patent provides a migration method that allows a database application that accesses a local database to be synchronized with a blockchain. Data to be written into the database, but requiring synchronization, will be sent to a blockchain for consensus voting automatically, and only the data that gets consensus is made to persist and viewed by application. It also allows a software application to access a local relational database and via a migration service synchronize the status and data of the database with blockchain. The data is sent to the blockchain for consensus automatically, and only thereafter viewed by the application. This approach resolves transaction conflicts both in local nodes and globally. The invention is protocol agnostic and ZeU management believe that it could be used as a gateway to share data between application using different protocols.

Additional Patent Applications

St-Georges $SX.ca Lithium-In-Clay Extraction Technology Update

Posted by AGORACOM-JC at 1:36 PM on Thursday, December 20th, 2018
  • Successful selective leaching to remove Magnesium Oxide (MgO) and Calcium Oxide (CaO) was achieved
  • This allows the potential recovery of High Purity MgO and eliminates the need for membranes and other purification steps required to make high purity lithium that can be used to make lithium carbonate, lithium hydroxide and/or lithium metal.

Montreal, QC / December 20, 2018 St-Georges Eco-Mining Corp. (CSE: SX) (OTC: SXOOF) (FSE: 85G1) is pleased to provide an update on the development of its lithium-in-clay extraction technology.

Successful selective leaching to remove Magnesium Oxide (MgO) and Calcium Oxide (CaO) was achieved. This allows the potential recovery of High Purity MgO and eliminates the need for membranes and other purification steps required to make high purity lithium that can be used to make lithium carbonate, lithium hydroxide and/or lithium metal.

“(…) Selective leaching of Magnesium, Calcium and Sodium is an interesting breakthrough that helps to make the down stream processing for lithium purification simpler with fewer challenges on water/acid balances, reduction in chemical usage and lower energy requirements. (…) We are still investigating converting problem elements into valuable salable by-products helping our cost structure and ecological focus (…)” said Enrico Di Cesare, St-Georges’ Vice-President Research & Development.

St-Georges tested its metallurgical process in a simulated industrial environment using large quantity of material received in September from the Bonnie Claire deposit owned 100% by its partner Iconic Minerals Ltd. (TSX-V: ICM). Approximately 100kg of Bonnie Claire material was used in the current test phase. 5 independent laboratories participated in the effort. The initial mechanical separation step was tested with an equipment vendor in Pennsylvania. The results show that 55% of the mass can be removed while concentrating the lithium without the use of water and chemicals.

St-Georges is working on the filing of two provisional patents in relation to the first phase of development of the process. Further testing is underway to optimize and firm up the patent applications. The current developments simplify and improve the process flow sheet. It eliminates the need to use membranes and it is expected to decrease total chemicals used.

In mutual agreement with Iconic Minerals, St-Georges’ management is revising the initial planning allowing to accelerate the development of the technology and should deliver a report to Iconic in January that will include elements that were initially expected in the second development report. Additional testing is currently underway for that purpose. St-Georges also expects to issue an additional press release in early January after it receives the results to the verification tests that it has just commissioned following this potential breakthrough.

Canada

Rare Earths and Niobium Findings

St-Georges’ mineral exploration contractors have been active on the “Muscovite Mines” group of claims owned by St-Georges. The company acquired these claims initially in a joint acquisition through claims designation (electronic map staking) with another mineral exploration company. The other company had also entered into an agreement with private claims owners, some of which were St-Georges directors and officers, for the core claims of these projects that are historical mines. The other mineral exploration company underwent a change of business in 2017 and sold its participation to St-Georges. The core claims of these projects are currently owned by Mark Billings, Frank Dumas and other minority partners.

While the claims acquired by St-Georges were acquired with the objective of securing a zone of interest around the historical mines, it was not the intention of the company to be the main exploration operator but to support its partner of the time to which it was providing technological solutions, while guaranteeing itself a supply of mineral material to test and develop metallurgical processes.

One of these sets of claims referred to as the Xavier Mine Property yielded results worth reporting. The 2018 field work has exposed some alkaline intrusive occurrences from which grab samples taken from surface outcrops have returned significant Rare Earth Elements results. The two best samples yielded 6780 ppm of Cerium (Ce), 2840 ppm of Lanthanum (La), 2690 ppm of Neodymium (Nd) 766 ppm of Praseodymium (Pr), 732 ppm of Yttrium (Y) for a total of over 1.5% REE and 5080 ppm of Cerium (Ce), 2140 ppm of Lanthanum (La), 2380 ppm of Neodymium (Nd), 1305 ppm Yttrium (Y) and results in excess of 2500 ppm of Nobium (Nb). Further testing for Nobium and a compilation of the work done are planned.

For further information on the muscovite mines group of properties please refer to St-Georges’ press release dated April 28th 2016 “St-Georges Partners with Active Growth to Explore Lepidolite & Muscovite Pegmatites” and press release dated November 13th 2017 “St-Georges Updates on Share Issuance & Warrants Execution”.

Isoukustouc (Kings of the North Subsidiary)

Earlier this summer, the company collected several hundred kilos of blast samples from the B40 showing section of the Isoukustouc project. This material is being used for metallurgical testing and approximately 100kg should be sent out for independent testing in the coming month. In order to test the scalability of a newly developed Ferro-Nickel metallurgical process, additional tonnage should be collected with heavy machinery in late September or early October.

Historical assay values obtained on selected grab samples yielded 17.00% copper, 3.84% nickel and 0.20% cobalt. The 2012 surface sample program executed by St-Georges on the surroundings of the B40 section of the project yielded 1.85% nickel and 0.335% copper on average. An exploration program of 2,343 line-km of airborne magnetic geophysical survey with 100m spacing was completed in 2011.

Julie Nickel

The company has initiated permitting for a multi-stage drilling effort on Julie in the coming months. A team should be on the project in late September to map, sample and prepare the ground for a multi-tonne bulk sampling to give the company enough material to advance some of its metallurgical initiative pertaining to Nickel and Cobalt. Some initial drilling might occur this fall if conditions allow. The potential for a larger drilling effort is being looked into for the winter of 2019.

The Julie Nickel Discovery best result to date is a 11.64 meters channel intersection at surface that graded 1.82% Nickel, 0.29% Copper and 0.04% Cobalt.

Le Royal Lithium

Earlier this summer a team of prospectors accompanied by geologists participated in a 5-day surface campaign on the property. Pegmatite outcrops and geophysical targets were the main focus of interest. Samples from Le Royal should be sent later this fall to Australia to be processed by Strategic Metallurgy PTY. This project is jointly own by St-Georges (90%) and Lepidico (ASX:LPD) 10%.

Lithium Processing Technology Update

Test work is ongoing to concentrate lithium fines in clays. Resulting higher concentrations of lithium should allow more aggressive recovery methods. Very fine particles and crystal characteristics are the key focus of the current research and testing initiative.

In parallel the team is experimenting with a hybrid approach to mixed acids. Success of this approach should allow the elimination of the calcining step of processing.

Final purification stages of the process, adjusted to the particular resources impurities, will combine membranes, resins and liquid separation.
